Inspired By All the Little Things #74

We have a new challenge over at Inspired By All the Little Things this week!

This will be my last time posting as part of the Inspiration Team.
I love this challenge and have been honoured to be a part of it since it's beginning.

I am slowing things down a little bit more so that I have more time to focus on my family and myself. The last 6 weeks have been incredibly difficult recovering from my clavicle bone break. Never have I experienced anything quite like this. I have been unable to craft, unable to do pretty much anything and trying to run the 25 Days of Christmas Tags as it was set up to run has been very challenging. With the help of my design team, the amazing designers that created tags for the event and my good friend Ardyth who helped me set up the framework for my posts in the beginning when I just wasn't able to the event was a success!
  • 26 Days of amazing Christmas tag inspiration
  • So far 577 participants have created tags and added then to the linkup--you still have until December 1st 12:00 am EST to link up a tag
So here is my final card based on the inspiration photo...

Hope that you will play along with me for my final challenge!

Inspired By All the Little Things #70

Happy Saturday Morning!

I am the hostess this week at Inspired By All the Little Things.
Everything about the inspiration photo I chose for this challenge says fall to me.
Colours of the season, a warm scarf, a hot drink and some beautiful fall leaves!

Was happy I have most of my card finished before I broke my collarbone last week. The pain is intense and the healing is slow but a visit with the surgeon this week looks like surgery is not going to be necessary. However, not celebrating just yet I am in a sling to keep my shoulder immobilized for another two weeks. so typing by dictation. :)

I have been loving using Distress Oxide Ink. I love how easy they are to apply and how easy it is the blend colours together.  For my card I created a panel from white cardstock with Faded Jeans Distress Oxide Ink and then a spritzed the Hero Arts Glorious Petals stencil with water and put in down on my panel. I created another panel with three different Distress Oxide Inks--Spiced Marmalade, Fired Brick and Wild Honey. I cut the Lawn Fawn Sticked Leaves from these after a sprinkled some water on them.  The sentiment was gold embossed on chocolate brown from Neat & Tangled's Oak Leaf.

Inspired By All the Little Things #66

Happy Weekend!

It is my turn to host this week's challenge at Inspired By All the Little Things. When I chose the inspiration for this week's challenge I was so taken with this beautiful Dahlia. My Dahlia's did wonderfully this year and my last bloom just died off just the other day, either that or an animal trampled over it!  I took a photo of this beauty last weekend...

I chose the Altenew Dahlia Blooms stamp set for my card. Masking and stamping both the large and small flowers and then Copic coloured. I cut the panel with a stitched rectangle and adhered it to a top folding grey card base with foam tape.

Happy Weekend!
It's my turn to host over at Inspired By All the Little Things.

This week I chose a photo with a fun and vibrant colour palette that says summer to me. I don't know what the weather has been like in your part of the world but in mine these umbrellas have been needed.

I started off with my go to background these days of smooshed Distress Oxide Inks--Cracked Pistachio for the ground and Broken China for the sky. I decided to go with the colours from the Inspiration for my card so I stamped a bunch of butterflies using them, 12 to be exact. Then I arranged them onto the upper part of my background like the umbrellas were in the photo and added a sentiment.

Inspired by All the Little Things #58

It's my turn to host over at Inspired By All the Little Things!

I chose this inspiration photo partly because I love the ombre colours ad partly because the moment I saw it I had my guest in mind. I couldn't wait to create a similar ombre using Distress Inks. I blended Picked Raspberry, Spiced Marmalade  and Mustard Seed Distress Ink for my background. I stamped and white embossed the flower bouquet from Altenew's Best Mom, the sentiment is from the Adore You set.

Inspired by All the Little Things #53

It's time for a new challenge at Inspired By All the Little Things!

Isn't this inspiration as cute as can be.
I went very literal with it this week although I had some other ideas, it just means there may be another card. I used an older set from Waffle Flower Crafts, the images are still as fresh and fun as they were when I got it. The camera didn't pick up the sparkle embossing very clearly but I made another process video for today's card and you can see it better there, I have it posted under my card. You can watch it here or on my YouTube channel. I've been having fun doing these!

It is an exciting week at Inspired By All the Little Things as we celebrate with our 50th challenge!  Each of the designers has invited a special guest to join us in the celebration.

Here is my card for the celebration. I used Altenew's Amazing You embossed with VersaFine and coloured with ZIG's Clean Color Real Brush Markers.

Inspired By All the Little Things #49

Here comes Peter Cottontail...it's time for a new challenge at Inspired By All the Little Things and when I picked this image for the challenge this week I thought it was perfect as we are heading into April. For my card today I used MFT Stamps Snuggle Bunnies for the second time this week! I was inspired to use the grey's from the inspiration photo and of course the bunny.

I hope you head over to the Inspired By All the Little Things blog to see who I invited to be my guest for this week and see her adorable card.
