Here we are two days from Halloween and time for the 12 Kits of Occasions October edition!

Fabulous designer Nancy Penir is our hostess for our Halloween kit this month! She sent us the spookiest kit that is loaded with fun, fantastic, papers and stamped images. Cute and spooky die cuts and embellishments to play with!

Inspired By All the Little Things #70

Happy Saturday Morning!

I am the hostess this week at Inspired By All the Little Things.

Everything about the inspiration photo I chose for this challenge says fall to me.

Colours of the season, a warm scarf, a hot drink and some beautiful fall leaves!

Was happy I have most of my card finished before I broke my collarbone last week. The pain is intense and the healing is slow but a visit with the surgeon this week looks like surgery is not going to be necessary. However, not celebrating just yet I am in a sling to keep my shoulder immobilized for another two weeks. so typing by dictation. :)

I have been loving using Distress Oxide Ink. I love how easy they are to apply and how easy it is the blend colours together.  For my card I created a panel from white cardstock with Faded Jeans Distress Oxide Ink and then a spritzed the Hero Arts Glorious Petals stencil with water and put in down on my panel. I created another panel with three different Distress Oxide Inks--Spiced Marmalade, Fired Brick and Wild Honey. I cut the Lawn Fawn Sticked Leaves from these after a sprinkled some water on them.  The sentiment was gold embossed on chocolate brown from Neat & Tangled's Oak Leaf.

Birch Press - Apple for the Teacher

Muse #237

It's Monday and time for another new challenge at Muse!

For Muse this week I inked up the Altenew Sketchy Floral Stamp. When I first looked at the stamp and saw how large it was I was a bit intimidated. However, the large scale floral image is actually quite unique in that you can do so many things with it. You can make cards just by positioning the stamp in different locations on your card front and  it would be brilliant to stamp right on to your scrapbooking projects. For today's Muse I was clear embossed a partial flower image on to Bristol cardstock. Then I coloured only part of the image with ZIG watercolour markers. I added a sentiment from the Essentials by Ellen Make It Beautiful stamp set.

I just love the cute bathing suit image that Bev used for her tag. So my translation was to create a tag with a little black dress! I used am image from the Hero Arts April Monthly Kit.  A few bright pink enamel dots and some pretty satin ribbon.

Ellen Hutson Pin-Sights September Challenge

A very late entry to this month's Ellen Hutson Pin-Sights Challenge!

I have had a mondo migraine for the past few days and creating wasn't on my mind. Tonight after spending an hour in our new hot tub that arrived on Tuesday I had a bit of relief, fell asleep and woke up a while later and headed into my studio to create this card. My hubby and I bought a hot tub on our anniversary in August when we went to the nursery to buy some plants and they had a hot tub sale going on in the parking lot. Can you say squirrel!!

For my card I used the Ellen Hutson LLC Mermaid's Tail stamps and dies along with Otter Ware and Distress Oxides for my card. Tried to pull in colours from the inspiration.
