Dynamic Duos #67

Happy Saturday!
Here to share this week's fabulous duo at Dynamic Duos!

I created my card using the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches 100th sketch challenge. Using Crisp Cantaloupe and Calypso Coral cardstock I created my card so easily.  By using primarily cardstock foro my design the sentiment and stamped flower take centre stage. A few sequins to finish it off and done!

Last nights sunset complimented this week's colours, this is a view of the sunset shining on some really cool clouds to the north right before it ducked behind the horizon!

Hope that you come and play along with us this week!
We would love to see your creations!

Cardstock:  White (Papertrey Ink) Crisp Cantaloupe, Calypso Coral (Stampin' Up)
Stamps: Surly Goodness (Verve)
Ink: Soft Canteloupe (Hero Arts)  Memento Tuxedo Blackk (Tsukineko)
Memento Tuxedo Black (Tsukineko)
Dies: Stitched Rectangles (Lil' Inkers)
other: sequins (Neat and Tangled)

CCC #44

Time for a new CASology Cue Card.  This week our Cue Card is:

By using paper piecing you can add lots of interest to a CAS card without the bulk of multiple layers.  Very excited to use my new Surely Goodness stamp set from Verve stamps.  It is my first Verve purchase so you will be seeing lots more of this one.  For my card I created die cuts for the flowers using my Silhouette. Then I used them to cut my images using patterned papers from Lawn Fawn's Daphne's Closet and then stamped the image on top.  This is such a cool technique and gives your image depth.  I added a piece of foam tape behind the image to add some dimension again without bulk.

Head on over to CASology today to learn what the 'cue card' means to you, how you can play along and see the all the cards created by the Design Team to inspire you.
