It is time for another CASology Cue Card.
This week's Cue Word is:
Nothing says summertime like a picnic. For my birthday card I built a scene without cluttering up the CAS design. My scene includes the gingham blanket, fresh lemonade in a mason jar and yummy sweet watermelon. My secret is to keep the elements together and in one spot so that there is breathing room around it. It does not have to be in the centre, it could be in a corner but try not to scatter it all over your white space. When you use die cuts in your CAS design try not to stack multiple layers. My blanket and mason jar are adhered to the card base, the only element with dimension is the watermelon. Popping up one element gives interest to your card, but any more would start to create clutter. I am also submitting this to the current Addicted to CAS challenge.
What is your favourite thing to do for a picnic?
You still have time to come and celebrate at Melissa's Baby Shower HERE.
Head on over to CASology today to learn what the 'cue card' means to you, how you can play along and see the all the cards created by the Design Team to inspire you.
