CCC #68

This is one of three posts today, so if you are looking for my colourQ or Fresh Squeezed Stamps post just click on home to start from the beginning.

Are you ready for this week's CASology Cue Card?
Timely indeed, this week's cue is:

I created a fun Halloween card using a black card base with a grey mat. When creating a CAS card you want to keep your layers down to a minimum.  By stamping your scene and adding you die cuts on top you are keeping the bulk down.

Head on over to CASology today to learn what the 'cue card' means to you, how you can play along and see the all the cards created by the Design Team to inspire you.

I can't wait to see what BLACK means to you!

Snuggles

Hi Fresh Squeezed fans!  Sharing a card for baby using two fun Fresh Squeezed Stamps sets!

I created a trail of stars from Weather Through that I coloured with pastel coloured Copics and then outlined each star with a clear glitter pen. For my sentiment I embossed a portion of the baby Subway Series: Occasions stamp and heat embossed it in white.

I use the sketch from Seize The Sketch for my card this week.

Cardstock:  White, Aqua Mist (Papertrey Ink)
Stamps: Weather Through, Subway Series: Occasions (Fresh Squeezed Stamps)
Ink: VersaMark, Memento Tuxedo Black (Tsukineko)
other: assorted Copics, white embossing powder, clear glitter pen

FSS: Let's Celebrate

It's Wednesday and my turn to bring you a project from Fresh Squeezed Stamps.  Today have a festive birthday card to share with bright summery colours.

I stamped the wire and lanterns from String Me Along with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and then colored the lanterns in bright summery colors.  I nested together two of the sentiments from Everyday Expressions and stamped them in the bottom corner of my card and finally stamped and coloured two stars from Weather Through around the sentiment, then I used Copic markers to color my images.

There are so many birthdays in the summertime with my family and friends.
What about yours?

Very excited, meeting Ardyth today for lunch. Wish you could all join us!

FSS: Life is Better

Good morning I have a card that mimics my feelings exactly about this time of the year.  To create my sunshine I stamped the sun image from Weather Through then without re-inking, I stamped it again by rotating the stamp slightly to create a glow.  I then stamped the flip flops from Beachy Keen and coloured them with Copic markers.  Many of the Fresh Squeezed Stamps are perfect for colouring.

I love my Sanuk yoga mat flip flops, the are so comfortable!
Do you love your flip flops too? do you have a favourite kind?

You are my Sunshine

It's my turn to share a project on the Fresh Squeezed Stamp blog today.

I created a card that will let a friend know just how much they mean to you. I did some selective masking to get the little firefly inside the lantern. I use scotch tape to mask tiny areas of a stamp.  I chose not to colour the bulbs in the other two lanterns to make the firefly the only source of light.
