Happy Saturday! Big plans for the weekend?
The holidays are officially over, we left our Christmas decorations and tree up until New Year's Day as we had a New Year's Eve party this year. So everything packed up on Thursday and Ben back to school on Friday. I think I need a vacation from Christmas vacation--ha ha.

Saturday means time for a new sketch at RetroSketches!
This week's sketch is based on a card by Erin.

A card that could be a New Year`s card or an anniversary or wedding. Black with gold embossing, gold foil and gold glitter enamel dots.

It is time for a new Cue Card at CASology!

What a better party than New Years Eve!

Some gold embossed fireworks and some die cut numbers brought this one in at 9 minutes 26 seconds.  I lost a lot of time lining the numbers up--LOL. I am also submitting this to  CFC124 and to the 10 Minute Craft Dash #32.

Here to share a card for this week's Dynamic Duos challenge.

This week we were to create a card using these colours:

Now for the dessert option of music think of the music of firecrackers and the music of
Auld Lang Syne at the stroke of midnight on January 1, 2013.

If you had a chance to read this years Holiday Cards & More you may have seen a card created 

by JJ Bolton that used the dandelion head from Papertrey Ink's Botanical Silhouettes as fireworks!  What a brilliant idea, that I used for my card today but embossed with gold embossing power.

I am also adding this card to CAS-ual Fridays Dashing Through the Holidays Challenge and the 10 Minute Craft Dash completing my embossed card in 9 minutes 55 seconds--Whew!
Which kind of goes along with my dash to post at Dynamic Duos with 7 minutes to spare.
