Papertrey Ink Blog Hop - July, Moxie Fab World Birthday Card Challenge and Seize the Birthday

I can't believe it is already the Papertrey Ink July Blog Hop! Where has this summer gone?
Six fruit inspired colour palettes were provided for us to use for our inspiration, this is the colour palette I chose.

For my card I used Sketched Shapes and Happiness in Bloom to create a summer sweet birthday card. I placed a matching sequin in the centre of each one of my flowers. I am going to be submitting this to both the Moxie Fab World Birthday Card Challenge and Seize the Birthday Anything Goes Challenge.

Sharing a card for this week's CASE Study Challenge.  This month super amazing Muse is Lisa Spangler, guest designer Lynn Mangan and three new fabulous new members of the CASE Study DT.  Here is the card we are working with this week:

The feather trend is hot right now, but I am late to the party and have no feathers in my cap or stash. So I was inspired by the colourful card and funky design we are studying and came up with this.  The sun die cut was an after thought after I had photographed my card the first time. Sitting on my desk in just the right colour, on it went.

Stamps: Happiness in Bloom, Stylish Sentiments Birthday (Papertrey Ink)

CCC #42

Happy Tuesday and time for this week's CASology Cue Card!  This week the Cue for this week is:

It is okay to pop up a layer to add interest to a CAS design. For my card this week there is actually three layers--one stamped (the leaves), one die cut adhered directly to the card base (purple flower) and one popped up (aqua flower).  The is still lots of white space to allow the design to breath.

Head on over to CASology today to learn what the 'cue card' means to you, how you can play along and see the all the cards created by the Design Team to inspire you.

I am also submitting this project to the Simon Says Anything Goes challenge.
Check back in this afternoon for a bit of news.
