Wednesday Sketch Challenge #499

A card for the MFT Stamps Wednesday Sketch Challenge 499!

Yes another last minute entry for this week's MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge. However this time it isn't because I was crafting at the last minute but because I am having camera issues!

I  hope you are doing well during these scary times. I have been spending a lot of time organizing--my craftroom, my home, my gardens basically my everything. I gives me a break from all the sadness.

On to why I was so late this week. I have had my Canon Rebel for over 10 years now, which means its more like 15--LOL! However out of the blue the shutter button stopped working. With everything that is going on right now I am somewhat limited to where I can take it to get it fixed. So I am using my phone which for card photography is a bit trickier. I hope you will  be patient with me while I work though my first world problem.

Stay safe!

Wednesday Sketch Challenge - Sketch 498

tracey_thumbnail

A card for the MFT Wedneday Sketch Challenge 498!

I had a lot of fun with this week's sketch. Rather than create two separate circles I made one large circle and cut a smaller circle out from it and popped it up for dimension. I was inspired by Marieke Slaats hand drawn seagulls using this set, so I drew a few on my card too!

Wednesday Sketch Challenge - Sketch #497

This one is for the MFT Stamps Wednesday Sketch Challenge #497.

I used the MFT Stamps Over the Rainbow 6 x 6 paper pad for the blue polka dot background paper from the sketch. The cake was made from the brand new Piece of Cake Die-namics die. The rainbow layers of my white iced cake was also cut from the Over the Rainbow 6 x 6 paper pad. The icing was cut from Pixie Dust Sparkle Paper and the sentiment is from the MFT Stamps Bitty Birthday Wishes stamp set!

Wednesday Sketch Challenge - Sketch 496

I used the MFT Stamps Baby Shark for the MFT Stamps Wednesday Sketch Challenge - Sketch 496!
It is so cute!

I used a some paper from the MFT Fun in the Sun 6" x 6" paper pad for my background. THe shark was cut from grey cardstock for the body, I lightly blended some darker grey around his fin and head for a bit of dimension. I struggled with his mouth--do I make it red and scary or pink and cute. I went with cute--LOL!

I finished is off with a few of the NEW Studio Katia Stormcloud pearls. I think I am becoming obsessed with these pearls like I was when I first saw sequins on cards!

I hope I brought a smile to you face.
