This week's colourQ palette was beautiful collection of spring hues. Arielle creates such fabulous palettes every single week, I don't know how she manages to keep it so fresh. I am in awe. Most of the cardstock that I have is Papertrey, but more and more I wish that I had some Stampin Up colours of both cardstock and ink to compliment them. I just received the Simon Says Stamps April kit which had a collection of Hero Layering Papers and some Neenah in it and I can say I like the weight of those papers. What type of cardstock do you use? I am always curious what other crafters keep close at hand.
I chose Papertrey Sweet Blush, Melon Berry, Lemon Tart and Spring Moss for my palette. I liked the look of the Melon Berry felt more than the cardstock and ink for this week. That is what led me to use dies and felt instead of stamps this challenge.
All Supplies are from Papertrey Ink unless otherwise noted:
Cardstock: White, Spring Moss, Lemon Tart, Sweet Blush
Stamps: Think Big Favourites #14
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black (Tsukineko)
Felt: Melon Berry, Harvest Gold, Simply Chartreuse
Dies: Bitty Birds, Hearts Border
other: foam dots, Corner Chomper (We R Memory Keepers)

Tracey, when I saw this come up in my Reader, I literally went "OH!".....it is so soft & sweet! I just love those little felt birds...you know how to do CAS so well!
As far as cardstock, as I am an SU demo, I always use SU cardstock. (I confess I do have lots of other DPs, though!). I have gotten cards made with PT's white cardstock and it seems very sturdy and nice! There are so many out there, it's hard to choose! Anyway, thanks for playing with the CQC--this is at the top of my list for sure!
Ooooo, this is a real cutie! Your cards are always so fresh and inviting, that's why I always love them.
Regarding card stock and ink-- a few years ago I invested in all 46 colors of card stock and Stampin Spots from Stampin Up! And they have served me well for a long time. Half of those colors are retired now but they are still going strong (I bought all the reinkers too). I am VERY conservative of card stock and save every little scrap for future use!
Tracey this is so sweet. I have some felt and never think to use it. Thanks for the reminder. All of my paper is PTI. Years and years ago I did SU and I have a little paper left. SU does have beautiful colors and I've always liked their paper. Thank you for playing at the ColourQ this week..love your card!
I agree with LeAnne, you are a CAS star! I wish I had Melon Berry ink and felt. It was never one on my radar, but I have realized that I need to use more colors simply to create different cards. I don't want to be creating the same cards all the time.
Such a sweet card ,Tracey ! Framed beautifully .
Sweet CAS card, Tracey, so glad you are having a nice Easter weekend. I too use SU card stock and love the colors and the weight of the card. Thanks for joining us at the ColourQ this week.

Hey, congratulations on making Courtier again! ;-D They're going to have to put you on the Design Team pretty soon, if you keep up this pace. And I think that would be fabulous. ;-) Way to go, girl!
