Glitter Hello

IMG_2432

I have a card to share from my crafty retreat last weekend.  A group of us who live within a few hours of Toronto got together and went to a retreat in the country. Stephanie Klauck, Marcie Sharp, Ardyth Percy-Robb, Natasha Kara and myself. Stephanie Marcie and I came in from the south, west and north each driving about 2 1/2 hours. Ardyth and Natasha came in from the east with 1 1/2 hour drive.  As you probably guessed there was a lot of chatter, laughter and crafting.  Gorgeous weather, a quaint location and delicious food.

This one was from a shoebox swap card created by Marcie Sharp, Sharp Designs. In the past glitter and I have not gotten along at all but with Marcie's design using Scor Tape the glitter stayed where it was supposed to stay.

Rather than take a photo when we were all made up and well rested we chose to take one the last morning before we hit the road with no makeup and two days with minimal sleep-lol!

What a beautiful group of women.
That card is fabulous, and the score tape really holds glitter well especially the super fine stuff. I love the idea of the negative die cut letters ontop of a glittered backdrop.
