Sweet Pea - August '16

Oh my goodness where has time gone!
Can you believe it is the 31st of August?

Last day of the month and time for the August edition of The 12 Kits of Occasions!

Lisa Elton is our hostess this month and she sent us a gorgeous kit with beautiful papers, die cuts and embellishments! Lots of Rose Gold and foil! This is Lisa's debut kits since she joined the team and I will be honest with you I just wanted to hoard all the pretty contents!

I have three card to share today but I have lots to make more once I get my daughter moved this weekend back to school. She starts back up next week. Fortunately most of what she needs is still packed from the move home last spring and at the bottom of the basement stairs right where she left it in April-lol!

Let's get on to why you're here. My first card is my favourite, I chose to just add some pink to her.

Next up I used an image from the Precious Remembrance Sweet Pea Stamp set that Lisa designed.

and finally my last card, isn't that rose gold paper gorgeous?

Enjoy hopping around to the other blog and remember that there are two prizes to be won this month! All the details are on the 12 Kits blog!

Our guest this month is Greta

It was so late when I finished my post last night and I forgot to share a few more photos of the kit contents with you!

I am submitting all of these to the Simon Says Wednesday Challenge Anything Goes!

Happy hopping!

Sweet is the operative word for this Kit! I love all your sweet makes, Tracey!! Good luck with the move this weekend! I know from experience that next you will go through the withdrawal of missing her all over again! That's the downside of having them home for the summer. Sending big hugs!! Darnell

Tracey, all beautiful, and I love little sassy pants too! That was the first card I did. And the rest seem to just come together so perfectly! Hope all goes well with your daughter's move. I remember each of my 5 when they flew the coop! And speaking of coop, now my hubby and I are raising chickens! It never ends! LOL!

I'm saying it again--"why didn't I think of that?!" Love how you used the elements of Lisa's sweet kit! Just adding a bit of pink to the cute little girl was a brilliant idea, Tracey!

Tracey, every time I see that sweet little girl with her hands on her hips I just smile and giggle, and its no different with your card...how adorable :) I love your big bold words with the hello sweet pea card, and how you used the actual pea. The stitched edged definitely give it that special finishing touch!
