Make It Monday #175

cover

I don't seem to have enough time these days for things, but after the watching Danielle Flanders Make It Monday video I knew I wanted to make a non border die border.  A process that started last night was complete in time to photograph outside with perfect lighting and no wind!

I used Oopsie Daisy for my non border die, CASE-ing my own card HERE and inspired by the colours and card by Melissa Bickford HERE.

Some of you are aware that I attempted to make a salad with my finger earlier this week, and I am happy to report that huge finger band aid is off and I am sporting regular band aids now. Sorry rambling now, anyway when I was almost finished my card and was tying the twine, the band aid was getting in the way. So I took it off and tied the bow. I was looking at my card when it was done and how did I get ink on the card! Followed by, I didn't use red ink! Ack!  Just a teeny tiny spot and on all places--the no border die panel! White gel pen to the rescue!

ADORE this, Tracey! You nailed the technique. Glad to hear the finger is healing and I agree, white gel pens have come to the rescue many a time for me (not to mention photoshop if that doesn't work LOL)

And the colours/composition of your card: visual harmony in every detail!! WOW! Wherever that 'spot' happened to land, it's nowhere to be seen. Only perfection!! Good to hear your injury is healing!
