It's the last day of the month and that mean time for this month's edition of The 12 Kits of Occasions. We were so excited to have so many new members on our blog, Facebook and a our Pinterest page.
Amy is our hostess this month as we have shifted back to Christmas with a fantastic kit that I am sure you will find inspiring. See a picture of our kit over at the The 12 Kits of Occasions blog and as always a complete list of all the supplies found in our kits posted under the Monthly Kit Supplies link. We hope you come and visit us! Amy has a giveaway this month for a commenter over at the 12 Kits blog, pop over to our blog for all the details.
Now that the introductions have been made lets get on to the projects. I made three cards this month, to save some products for CASEing and maybe to add another cad or two when life starts slowing down again.
Our came the Lil' Inkers stitched mats again! Also success I actually fussy cut the poinsettia image without amputating one of the leaves. Isn't that cute little silver star adorable?
For my last card I went with a more monochrome palette and added some bronze sequins to the snowflake centres. It that a Lil' Inkers stitched mat in there again? How did that happen--LOL
I am also submitting this card to this weeks Simon Says Wednesday Challenge Anything Goes.
When it comes to Christmas card do you prefer to use traditional green and red, or do your chose more subdued vintage tones?
Make sure you visit the rest of the group over at the 12 Kits of Occasions blog to se there fabulous creations!

Tracey I just love that joy card! I love the layout and the stitched look around the edges of the cardstock, it is beautiful! I love the way you used the banners on the first and put the snowflakes on the 3rd, too :)

Wow! Awesome cards, Tracey! Love the stripes on the first one! The second is so fun with the layers and perfect colors, and such pretty paper on your third one! Fabulous work!
Beautiful cards Tracey! Love the one with the stitched rectangles. Love the layout of the card with the snow flakes and the vintage paper…so pretty!
Ben was such a cute little boy …hope you are not too heavy hearted today. I will be thinking of you. Be happy!
And now I know you fussy-cut perfectly, too! Sigh. You are the consummate perfectionist and all these cards are evidence of that, Tracey! I love the sweet jingle bell in the twine bow and how you offset the stitched mats!!
Tracey your cards are amazing! I love that you always have this fabulous clean look to them. I love your layered stitched rectangles and then tie them off with that fun jingle bell, so sweet.
Oh Tracey...I am thinking about you today as Ben heads off to college. You sure did make some really great Christmas cards today...love the one with the red stitched flags and also the card with the stitched mats is my perfect and I am glad you didn't amputate one of the leaves! The pretty snowflake with gem and fabulous sentiment is so nice with that great faux burlap patterned paper. I'm looking forward to next month!
These are all so beautiful, Tracey! I love the vintage feel to them, yet they also seem very classic!
Love that cool stocking paper!! Didn't get that, but it's nice to see different pieces! Love the poinsettia card!!
Hi Tracey! OOH look at all the layers no the first card !! I love the pennant banner peeking out from the stripes! The bow around the colored paper on the second with the jingle bell is so festive, and the last is so clever too with the dp on only part of the card!
LOVE the stripes on your first card and what a great way to use the banner strip! Your cards are all so beautifully done. Love the bronze centers for the snowflakes and the die cut sentiment!
These are just fabulous. You used some goodies that I saved, so that is good for me, too. No one will accuse you of allowing those stitched mats to gather dust. I've got some more here to send you next week, too. I know mine never leave my desk, and I never tire of seeing them on your blog.
A wonderful trio of Christmas cards...just love that twine!!! I am pretty much a tradtional girl!!!

The banners with the striped paper are festive good fun. And the layered panels are fantastic in those Christmas colors with the poinsettias. Awesome cards, Tracey!
Tracey, your designs are always so crisp, clean, and stylish! I just love the pairing of the striped paper and twine on the first card, the layered, stitched mats on the second, and that perfect asymmetrical layout on the third. One of these days I'll have to break down and get some of those Lil Inkers dies--everyone used them so beautifully on their cards this month!
