Popping in with my card for this week's CAS(E) this Sketch challenge. I went with very neutral colours and a rustic look for my card this week. I actually took the plastic off my Hero Arts Three trees stamps which is embarrassing because I have had it and the Tiny Trees for a few years now.
Cardstock: Vintage Cream, Kraft, Ripe Avocado (Papertrey Ink)
Patterned paper: Holiday Flourishes & Swirls (PTI)
Stamps: Three Trees, Holiday Sayings (Hero Arts)
Ink: Ripe Avocado, Spring Moss PTI) Creamy Brown (ColorBox)

That background paper goes perfectly with those trees. I say it is never to late. I have sometimes waited 5 years to use an item. In fact I think I have some wood mounted stamps I haven't used yet. I don't think I have bought a wood mounted stamp in 4 yrs.
Perfect timing for these stamps, I'd say! The card is soft, sweet, and lovely. Really, really like this.

I like the rustic look and monochromatic colors! I too just cleaned out one of my stamp drawers and found some stamps I have had for a while and never opened...what's wrong with me!!!??? :)
