Dynamic Duos #10: Bold & Sassy Colours & CASology July 10th

Gorgeous colours this week at Dynamic Duos.  I translated Them to Autumn Rose & Simply Chartruse from Papertrey Ink.  Unfortunately lately I know a few too many people who are not well, I am hoping my card will cheer someone up.

All Supplies are from Papertrey Ink unless otherwise noted:

Cardstock: Simply Chartreuse, Autumn Rose, White
Stamps: Pretty Peonies, Think Big Favorites #14
Ink:  Simply Chartreuse, SAutumns Rose, True Black
Dies:  Pretty Peonies
Other:   foam dots

A quick reminder that CASology is going live on July 10th at 8:00 am CST.  I hope that you drop in to say hello and join us in the first ever challenge!

I don't have much of a green thumb.  My garden however, thanks to my husband and his horticulture background, is timed so that there is always something blooming when another one is finishing off.  This year everything is way ahead of schedule.  We had an early warm spring and then right into one heat wave after another.  My grass is starting to look torched but the gardens are blooming in abundance.  The hydrangea is three times the size it was last year, the Day Lilly's are definitely ready to be split and the geranium is already on it's second bloom. Now it will be up to the annuals to carry us through to the fall.  I wanted to share a few photos before the blooms die off.

Tracey, your card is as beautiful as your garden. What a beautiful take on this week's challenge, don't you just love the look of purple and green together...they are my sister's favorite colors and I always like of her when I see them together. Such a classy card.

This is just stunning. I completely forgot about this challenge--better get moving. I think purple and green are one of my fave combinations, and the simplicity of this card is just perfect. Also, beautiful garden pictures. I have a totally black thumb, and am always so impressed with people who know what to grow when and where--and can make it happen.

Joyce I only water the garden and take pictures--oh and point when we are at the garden centre and say that's pretty! LOL

Almost missed this gorgeous card--wowee! I love the scored background and that lovely layered peony, and the matting is perfect. And your garden is to die for! Is your husband available for rent? Our garden is the pits, not totally our fault since we are suffering severe drought right now.
