Make It Monday #69: Inspiration Into Unique Sketches

A last minute card.  Not too happy with the way this one turned out but it gave me a chance to get re-acquainted stamping with Staz-On on vellum and setting eyelets.  It has been a while.

All Supplies are from Papertrey Ink unless otherwise noted:

Cardstock: White, Winter Wisteria
Stamps: Beautiful Butterflies, Enjoy the Ride
Ink: Plum Pudding, Winter Wisteria, Lavender Moon (PTI), Jet Black Staz On (Tsukineko)

Tracey, I think it's super serene, soft and pretty! I know what you mean about techniques that aren't so familiar to you though. But you should feel happy about trying newer things! For me it's distress inks...I'm scared, but I love the look of them.

Those butterflies are so soft and elegant and I love them in the different shades of purple. And the vellum band, so beautiful and love the Happy Birthday stamped on it too. I have not used eyelets in 100 years, and they look so well on your card. Just so stunning.

This is so pretty. I love the purple, and the dimension you added to the butterflies. I always forget about my vellum, and it is such a nice look.

Hi Tracy - love your butterflies! I am not so much for stamping on vellum - I smear it every time!!! A skill I gave up on :o)

Oooo, very nice! I love that polka dot vellum, it provides just the right amount of pattern to this CAS card. The layered butterflies in subtle shades are so very pretty!

I like it Tracey and I love the vellum. I have to remember to use it more also. Very pretty way you raised some of the butterflies.
