CAS-ual Fridays #58: Pretty in Pink & MIM # 71: Bordered Sentiments

This weeks CAS-ual Fridays challenge is to make a project featuring pink and Make It Monday was to use masking to create a project with a bordered sentiment.  I combined the two challenges.  Stamping isn't as forgiving as cutting paper, when I was adhering my panel to the card base I noticed that I had a Sweet Blush smudge on the upper right hand corner.  So I covered it with another flower, great way to hide a mistake, but the card ended up busier than I originally planned.

All Supplies are from Papertrey Ink unless otherwise noted:

Cardstock: White, Sweet Blush, Sweet Blush Bitty Dots
Stamps: Sending You, Think Big Favorite #15
Ink: Sweet Blush, Raspberry Fizz, Simply Chartreuse (PTI), Tuxedo Black Memento (Tsukineko)
other: black Zig pen, Rhinestones (Kaiser), Corner Chomper (We R Memory Keepers)

Wow, I think it turned out great! The extra flower in the corner balances the others so nicely--I wouldn't change it! Love these colors and those stamps--I want 'em!

This is so pretty. I forgot about that CAS Friday's challenge. Love the stamp set you used--I've got it out today, too, for something else. You should not have confessed your mistake. It looks like a great design to me!

Hi Tracey! This is lovely! I don't think it's too busy at all. I like the blocking of the sentiment in the center - great technique! Have a great day! :-)

I actually like it with the additional flower at the top. Very clever to hide the mistake. ;-) This is a really pretty card. Those Sending You blooms are some of my favorites, as well. Great job!

I am not much of a flower person but this card is awesome and makes me want that set now. You really did a wonderful job on this card and your sentiment lined up so perfectly. Love the bling on the flowers too, a great little touch.

Great job with the masked sentiment! Those flowers make a perfect frame! I totally thought that the "extra" flower was meant to be there! Not too busy, just right for balance:)
