Make It Monday #55: Creating Large Frames With Smaller Frame Stamps

This week Dawn McVey did the Make It Monday video on using smaller frames to create the illisuin of a larger frame.  very cool technique but I realized pretty quickly that I don't have too many frames that would be suitable--so more PTI shopping.  LOL

I created a base from Ripe Avocado then added a Spring Moss layer stamped with the large and small outline flower with Spring Moss ink.  The focal panel was stamped twice with Fillable Frames #11.  I die cut the bottom with the pinking die and it left a line just above that actually looks like I scored it on purpose (cool). To hide my deception I die cut and stamped a small banner in Summer Sunrise and three large flowers from Flower Fusion.  They were adhered with my dot adhesive but the Raspberry Fizz flower was adhered with a foam square.  The whole panel was attached to the card base with foam squares.

All Supplies are from Papertrey Ink unless otherwise noted:

Cardstock: White, Ripe Avocado, Spring Moss, Summer Sunrise, Orange Zest, Raspberry Fizz, Hawaiian Shores
Stamps: Flower Fusion #2
Ink: Raspberry Fizz, Hawaiian Shores, Orange Zest, Spring Moss, Tuxedo Black Memento (Tsukineko)
Dies: Banner Borders, Pinking, Flower Fusion #2
other:  foam squares

Hi Tracey! Thanks for your sweet comment. I love what you did with this challenge! Repeating the flowers in the background and as embellishment really ties everything together so well. Great colors, too!
