Make It Monday #50: Shaker Card (b)

I made a second card for this weeks MIM using some of the pieces I created when putting my first card together.  This one tones the colours down a bit using a white layered background.  I also made the shaker a bit different.  I made a deeper shaker box as was done on a few of the cards in the inLinkz list this week.  I made my shaker a 1 3/4" round with a 1/4" inside border.  This allows the beads to move freely.  My window is a tiny heart but the actual shaker is bigger.

All Supplies are from Papertrey Ink unless otherwise noted:

Cardstock: White, Sweet Blush, Raspberry Fizz
Stamps:  Tag Its #11
Ink: Raspberry Fizz
Dies: Limitless Layers 1 3/4", Heart Prints, Banner Borders, Doily Details
other: fun foam, acetate, tiny beads, Sweet Blush ribbon, pink rhinestones, foam dots

This is just so pretty. I love this as well as your first. I think it's a good idea to make the shaker box deeper. If/when I do another one, I would do it that way--two layers of foam. Maybe you will win the free stamp set this week?

I love your card ~ I can see that by making it thicker, the beads will move more freely.

Tracey, your MIM cards are too darn cute! I love the sparkle that both of them have, and the mix of pinks. I haven't started on valentine cards yet--need to get cracking!

Love this clean and simple Valentine. Reminds me of crisp clean sheets, weird I know!

Love this card too, Tracey. It's so simple but so very beautiful. The pinks are perfect, and that ribbon is adorable. I love that you used beads. I know I said that before, but I do love it - the beads are so fun. Lovely card. ;-)
