Jillibean Soup Designer's Challenge

This month the designers at Jillibean Soup were challenged to create cards to celebrate the arrival of spring with flowers!

As easy task says me, because Jillibean Soup has some of the most beautiful flower die cuts with their releases and it makes making floral cards not only easy but beautiful too.

Spring to me is new beginnings meaning the arrival of flowers, the sounds of the birds and people moving into new homes. I brought out the Shape Shaker Heart Tag and the Heart Birdhouse stamp and die set to create this sweet tag you could use to adorn a gift to a new neighbour. Quick, easy and cute!

It's time for Muse Challenge #257!

I used the beautiful Pretty Pink Posh Wild Rose, Hummingbird Thanks and Birdie Friends stamps and dies to create my scene and then coloured the images with ZIG Clean Color Real  Brush markers.

So excited today to be guesting with Winnie & Walter for this month's Rerun post!

This month the team is featuring Welcome to the Family with Evelin T Designs! This adorable set is full of the cutest images for many occasions. My card is a congratulations card for a new baby using purple as the anchor colour because it can be for either a boy or a girl. I stamped and die cut the little elephant from the set and Copic coloured it. The background circle behind the elephant was stamped using A Tree for all Seasons using Hero Arts Ombre Meadow ink.

Here is a second card I made, once again colours that could be for either a boy or a girl...

Make sure you head over to the Winnie & Walter blog for your chances to win!

Essentials By Ellen March Release | So Matcha

tracey_SoMatchacover

Last weekend when I was Stamping Away in Kansas we were treated so well by our sponsors we were thrilled to receive from Ellen Hutson some stamps from the new March Release at Ellen Hutson. Today I have a card using the Essentials By Ellen So Matcha clear stamps that were designer by Julie Ebersole and inspired by her recent trip to Japan!

My background was created with Distress Oxide ink smooshing over the white embossed bamboo from the stamp set. The whole panel was adhered with foam tape. The girl was coloured with Copic Markers and both her and her sentiment were also popped up with foam tape.

These are the Copics I used...

Thank you so much Ellen Hutson!

Faith & Family - February '18

Here we are rolling through 2018!

The last day of February and time for this month's 12 Kits of Occasions!

This month Lindsey Larsen is our hostess and she sent such an amazing kit that screamed springtime to me. The colours, the die cuts, the heartfelt sentiments and oh the gorgeous flowers just brought a smile to my face from ear to ear! I created six cards this month, but I  honestly have enough kit and ideas left over that I could make six more. Exactly the time this post is going live I am taking off in an airplane heading down to Kansas for a retreat weekend. I can't tell you how good it is for the soul the get crafty with a bunch of talented ladies. Speaking of talented I do hope you get a chance to check out what I know will be gorgeous projects from all the designers at the 12 Kits of Occasions. Every month I am so thankful to create along with the group.

Of lets get on with what you are here for...

Here they are all together!
