Good morning and so excited to share with you today that I am being CASE'd over at Time Out Challenges

I created this card using some distress inks for my background then heat embossing the Essentials by Ellen Mondo Magnolia in white on vellum.

I can't wait to see how you CASE this,
Thank you Time Out I have had such fun creating something for you!

I am also submitting this to Simon Says Wednesday Challenge Die Crazy!

CCC #164

It's time for a new Cue Card at CASology!
This week's Cue is:

Deciding when to leave well enough alone.
When I stamped this card I knew the recipient and the message that I wanted to convey. After I finished it I started to second guess if I should put 'congratulations' above the make a splash! My CAS loving heart knew that that was enough.

Pop over and have a look at what the rest of the Design Team has created to inspire you...

Guest Designer: Bhavana

I am also submitting this to Darnell's NBUS challenge.

I hope you play along with us again this week!

RetroSketches #181

Happy Saturday!
When I woke up this morning fall in definitely in the air, I can't believe that two days ago I had the air conditioning on! It was sunny and beautiful today  I spent a bit of time sitting our back this afternoon but I was glad that I had a long sleeved shirt on.

It's time for a new sketch at RetroSketches!

I finally used my Reverse Confetti Shine Bright stamps and Sun n' Clouds Confetti Cuts o create my card today.  I remember seeing Jen del Muro colour this sentiment in ombre with Copics and I had to try it. I added a Wink of Stella over the letters. Looked fabulous in the sunlight but of course overcast when I went to take the photo.

I am also submitting this to Darnell's NBUS challenge.

I hope you play along with us again this week!

Tag You're It Challenge #30 and MFT Design Superstar Challenge

Happy Friday!

It is time for a new challenge at Tag You're It and I am posting a tag today after a very long break. I am so lucky that I have such an amazing design team that kept the challenge running smoothly in my absence and made it so easy for me to do the background work without having to chase them around.

This challenge we have a special treat over on the Challenge post with inspiration from our own Nancy Penir.  I took my inspiration from her shaped tag and I could not wait to play with some NBUS MFT goodies.  Which is such a coincidence that my friend Darnell is hosting another challenge the NBUS Challenge #5!

I layered three kraft MFT Contempo Bird Cage dies cut to give my tag some strength. Then I coloured and adhered the palm tree from MFT Tiki Party and adhered it to the back and then coloured and adhered the bird from MFT Birds of Paradise to the front popped up with some foam tape for dimension.

I will be entering this in the MFT Card Design Superstar Contest!

...and Darnell's NBUS Challenge #5

...and I am also adding this to the Simon Says Stamp Stamptember Use a Stamp Challenge.

Have a wonderful weekend!

CCC #163

It's time for a new Cue Card at CASology!
This week's Cue is:

One of the things I love about die cuts is their versatility.
I love how you can get two different looks or better yet two different cards by swapping out the die cut elements.

Card Two...

RetroSketches #180

Time for a new sketch at RetroSketches!

Such a busy week getting both of our kids off to university. My daughter is right in there meeting new people and participating in all the activities going on during Frosh Week. It makes me so happy to see her adjusting so well. Ben has been busy this week setting up his new apartment--he moved from the back of the house that he shared with 3 others last year to the front of the house with 1 of the guys. Today I am glad they are only 2 hours away as we are heading up this afternoon to have dinner with the kids and bring Brooklyn the things she forgot.

Have a wonderful weekend!
