Reverse Confetti The Final SFYTT

tracey_SFYTT#59-cover

This is a totally last minute card for the final Reverse Confetti Sketch For You To Try!
I couldn`t let the deadline pass without creating one last card for the sketch.
I used non traditional papers from the Reverse Confetti Fright Night paper pack along with the Stamped Note Confetti Cut and a butterfly from Butterfly Dreams.

Reverse Confetti SFYTT #58

I have a card for this month's Reverse Confetti Sketch for You To Try #61. It might be wishful thinking at this point to even think of fresh strawberries growing in my snow covered garden but it will come soon enough--I hope.

I started off by sponging two panels of Bristol cardstock with Abandoned Coral and Peeled Paint Distress Oxide inks. Then I cut the berries and the stems using the co-ordinating Confetti Cuts. I added the sentiment to a Lacy Scallop circle die cut and then built my scene. The centre of the tiny white flower was made with Mustard Seed Stickles.

Thanks for dropping in today and I hope the sun is shining where you are.

Reverse Confetti Sketch for You to Try #56

traceycover

I haven't played along in such a long time which is crazy because I am crazy for Reverse Confetti.

The last few months have been very difficult for me recovering from my collarbone break, and as I write this post I am back in my sling again. This time to protect me from myself? My bone has healed and was cleared by my doctor to go about my life but to be cautious as the soft tissue damage may take some time to heal. After a month of feeling really good I have managed to put too much stress on my arm and I am back to being in quite a bit of pain again. The movements that we do but don't think about are the most painful. So no woe is me, I just have to slow down and use my sling as a reminder to take it easy and heal. Thank you for all the well wishes.

Here is this month's sketch.

...and my interpretation of it.

Reverse Confetti Sketch For You to Try #37

A card for the Reverse Confetti Sketch For You to Try #37!

I turned the sketch sideways and used the Let's Chill stamps and dies for my card. I watercoloured the popsicles and cut them without the bars. The popsicle sticks mimic the tabs in the sketch.

I am also submitting this to the CAS Mix Up Card Challenge for June.

I used Stamping, Die-cuts and Heat Embossing.

...and I am submitting to Virginia's View Challenge #22

Reverse Confetti Sketch for You To Try #36

A card for this month's Reverse Confetti Sketch For You To Try. I think I have warm weather and beaches on my mind these days. Or perhaps more likely a reason to pull out my Margaritaville Concoction Blender and mix up some Margaritas!

I am also submitting this to this week's Simon Says Stamps Wednesday Challenge: Anything Goes

Have a wonderful weekend!

Reverse Confetti SFYTT

When I received my order from Reverse Confetti I could not wait to play with the new Jolly Holiday stamps and dies. Isn't that reindeer just the cutest? It is also an opportunity to play along with this month's SFYTT.

This is also for Kathy Racoosin's 30 Day Colouring Challenge of which I have fallen so far behind in. Today I used Copics to colour my image.

Does buying a roll of stamps from the post office count as almost having my Christmas cards done?
Those were US stamps, next week I will buy a roll of Canadian stamps.

I have had a few more visitors. Some more wild turkeys who survived the Canadian Thanksgiving:

This is the third visit from the fox, I have never seen one up this close. It walked right up to my craft room window and didn't see me taking pictures of him until he went to the back of the house and when he spotted me he scooted back into the woods.

March Reverse Confetti SFYTT #22

IMG_7575

I am participating in the 30 Day Colouring Challenge with Kathy Rasoosin from The Daily Marker. The basic premise is that every day for 30 days we are colouing for at least 10 minutes a day. Yesterday I tried to colour this little puppy from Reverse Confetti in Copic Toner Grays. I wasn't happy with it, but as he dried he mellowed and I actually quite fell in love with him. I posted him on Instagram HERE, and today I am sharing a card I made with him for the March Reverse Confetti Sketch For You Too Try!
