Fusion 2nd Year Celebration Guest Design

Excited to share with you today that I am celebrating over at the Fusion Card Challenge for their 2nd Year Celebration! I was thrilled when Fusion Design Team Member Katie Brooks asked me to be her guest for the fun.

I played along with both the challenge photo and the sketch. I started by adhering a piece of pink chevron paper to the top of the card base. Then I stamped the sentiment on a zig zag stitched oval die cut which I adhered with foam tape. The butterfly die cut was watercoloured with Gansai watercolours and finally I finished it off with a few clear sequins.

Tag You're It Challenge #33

I think this is the week of Halloween inspired challenges.

It is time for a new challenge at Tag You're It!

I was inspired by Kara Lynne's cute candy corn inspiration photo, tag and colours.

I created a black tag, stamped and embossed the tag outline and sentiment with white embossing powder. Then I stamped, Copic coloured  and fussy cut the candy corn and adhered it to the tag with tape and foam tape.

Fusion Card Challenge

Oh how I have missed playing at Fusion.  I just could not resist these gorgeous colours!
Definitely speaks summer to me.

The flowers in the photo reminded me right away of Daydreamer, one of my most favourite PTI sets!

Fusion Card Challenge #4

Happy Family Day Canada!

I hope that today you are spending time with family.

Since we are all home today we are heading out to visit my mother-in-law.

I had a chance to create a card for the current Fusion Card Challenge.  I was so inspired by the butterflies and knew exactly what set I was going to use. I stamped the butterfly on vellum with Stazon Jet Black and soloured the image from behind with Copics. I like the effect.

Merry Monday #88 and Fusion #1

Playing along with this week's Merry Monday which is to create a card with an animal of some kind and the brand new and improved Fusion Card Challenge.  The perfect opportunity to break out my brand new Christmas Folk Art Additions stamps set and dies which were a lovely birthday gift! I hope that you are enjoying your week and the anticipation of the holidays. It is the last day of classes for my daughter today and my son writes his last exam on Saturday and is coming home on Monday.
