National Coffee Day Blog Hop

So excited to be posting today on National Coffee Day for the National Coffee Day Blog Hop!

Well it you know me you know I am a pot head!

My day just can't get started without a cup of coffee in my favourite mug.

I am posting along with the girls over at A Jillian Vance Design , who is one of the Super Sponsors, using their super fun Simply Said: Pot Head 3/4" stamp set!

I stamped and embossed the pot with black Versafine ink and clear embossing powder, then coloured the image in with Walnut Stain Distress Oxide ink with a mini dauber and filling it in with my waterbrush. Once dry I flicked some water onto the pot and picked up some of the colour with a clean paper towel. My background was made from a watercolour panel smooshed with Faded Jeans and Peeled Paint Distress Oxide ink. I ran the stamped coffee pot through my Scan N Cut and then I was able to pop the pot up with some foam tape for dimension.

Coffee Lover's Summer Blog Hop

Today is the beginning of the Summer Coffee Lover's Blog Hop!

SugarPea Designs is both a Super Sponsor and a participant.
I am participating along with the team at SugarPea Designs.

I used newly released SugarPea Design's The Perfect Blend for my card today. I started with the wood stump patterned paper from the Happy Camper Collection Paper Pad, stamped a sentiment and the cocoa branch from the set and coloured it with Copic markers. Really clean and simple design.

Coffee Lovers Spring Blog Hop

Happy Friday!

I hope your first week of spring is going well where you are. Still snow on the ground where I live but it is steadily disappearing. Today is the beginning of the Spring 2017 Coffee Lovers Blog Hop and I am participating along with the rest of the Design Team at SugarPea Designs for the hop today.

I used some cut images from Caffeine Addict that I cut with my Scan N Cut and Copic coloured them. This is also for Day 24 of the 30 Day Coloring Challenge hosted by Kathy Racoosin!

It's time for a new sketch at RetroSketches!

This week our sketch is inspired by an adorable card that Arielle previously posted. My theme is inspired by Fall Coffee Lovers Blog Hop. I missed the summer hop because we were in the throws of buying, selling and moving but I didn't want to let this one go by without playing. My technique is inspired by Anita Bowden's gorgeous card over at MUSE this week, I went with the technique of embossing, her circles and pastel colour palette.

Yesterday I told you that I still haven't located one of the boxes from my craft room. In that box is my Papertrey Ink Drips & Dribbles stamp set which I wanted to use for my card. So I thought outside the box and grabbed a coffee cup from the kitchen and some kraft ink--wala coffee spills!

I am also linking this up to Time Out Challenges #40 which is to case my card as a reminder there is still time to play along.

Spring Coffee Lover's Blog Hop

It's time for the Spring Coffee Lover's Blog Hop!

Amy Tsuruta and Chaitali Narla are the co-host for this event and the co-hosts of the Coffee Loving Cardmaker's Blog. The hop starts there.

I used the Hero Arts Need Caffeine stamp set for my distressed cups and the steam is from Lawn Fawn's Love You a Latte. I used some springtime colours for my mugs, I think we all need this as we are hopefully sending winter packing. My blue panel is a happy accident. I knew I wanted coloured cardstock to back my cups and I pulled this piece out of my scrap bin. I previously cut a wave from it but I actually liked the way it looked so I left it alone.

Holiday Coffee Lovers Blog Hop

Today is the day we have been waiting for.

Amy Tsuruta is hosting an awesome Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!

She has sponsors from pretty much everyone and has worked so hard preparing this event!

I made a coffee gift for the hop today using some dies from from Reverse Confetti and Love You a Latte set from Lawn Fawn.  I created the same package as I did last summer HERE for lemonade but using coffee (thanks you Kim Heggins for the idea to use Starbucks Via Packs).  I see me doing quite a few more of these before Christmas this year.
