Color Hues #133

Hello crafty friends! Today we start a new color duo at the Color Hues Color Challenge. I am the host for challenge #133 and I chose Lime Green and Violet as our colours to create with.

Lime Green and Violet are always fun colours for spring. Starting from early spring, at least where I live,  the first to emerge is the Crocus followed by other green and purple perennials! As I write this post on May 14th it is for the first since I can remember there are no leaves on any of the trees! It has been that cool! The next four days the heat is coming on and I bet by next weekend all the leaves will have filled in!

I used the new Spellbinders/Alex Siberia Magical Fuchsia Press & Foil Plate and the matching stencils for my card today. I am head over heals in love with this collection!

Starting off I used the Press & Foil Plate to gold emboss the Magical Fuchsia flower branch. Dreamy on it's own but once colour is added it's definitely magical.

I used the matching Magical Fuchsia stencils with Catherine Pooler inks:

Garden Party
Lime Rickey
Pixie Dust
Grape Crush

I trimmed my panel down to 5 1/4" x 4" and added it to my card base with foam tape.

The sentiment is from the same Press & Foil Plate, foiled on to purple cardstock and cut with the co-ordinating die. It was added to the card front with foam squares.

I hope you head over to visit the Color Hues blog to see what my teammates have done! I hope to see you play along with us!

Thanks for stopping by, have a wonderful day!
