Today is the start of a brand new colour duo at the Color Hues Color Challenge!
Teammate Sheri Gilson has chosen Coral and Green as the colors for challenge #111!
I used one of my favourite sets from PinkFresh Studios called Amazing Things. I stamped then stencilled the image with the co-ordinating stencils using Cathrine Pooler inks--Garden Party, Martini, Do-Si-Do, Coral Cabana and Samba. The image was die cut with the Amazing Things dies.
The background was embossed using the Spellbinders Plaid Company detailed embossing folder. I love the way it looks with the flower in front of it.
The sentiment is from Waffle Flower's Essential Sentiments. It is a go to set for me. I love all the sentiments and the size is perfect for most designs. I stamp and cut multiple sentiments as well as the shadows so they are handy to add a quick sentiment or a layered sentiment to a project.
Including the top the sentiment is three layers thick. I glued it down slightly over the leaf just so you see a peek of it through the tiny hold under the H of happy.
I'm also submitting this one to the Seize the Birthday challenge. I really need to get making birthday cards for all types of recipients. I can never seem to have the one I need! 😉
If you haven't already visited the Color Hues Color Challenge Blog I hope you stop by and see what my talented teammates have created for the challenge.
Thanks so much for stopping by and I can't wait to see what you create!

I love a gorgeous flower card and this one is no exception.
This is lovely, Tracey!
I see why this is a favorite set, Tracey! What beautiful flowers and they show beautifully on the embossed plaid background!
You have me thinking about this set again, Tracey and you might force me to go shopping! This is beautiful. I just love that wispy flower!
I agree the plaid background has just enough interest with detracting from the statement bloom, so pretty. :)
Your bloom is so darn pretty Tracey and I'm just loving the hues you used on it...it so totally POPS against that beautiful white plaid background! Lovely, lovely card my friend and a perfect addition to your birthday card stash!! Hugs and Happy June!! :0)
I am not sure anyone stencils as well as you, Tracey! This is a gorgeous card! Happy to see it in the gallery at Seize the Birthday too! Hugs!
Tracey, this is such a beautiful floral! LOve all the leaves on this one - and the Martini ink! AND the plaid embossing!
I've had my Coral Cabana out for a spin, too!

Absolutely beautiful Tracey!!! Love the background texture. I see you joined us at Seize the Birthday. Thanks so much for that!
I always love your cards, but I think this might be my favorite ever! The florals are lovely and so is the wonderful textured background. Just perfect!
Your flower is gorgeous in those colors and the embossed background looks great with it. Thanks for sharing with us at Seize the Birthday.
The dainty flower is eye catching enough, and then I saw that embossed background too, which adds such great texture and interest to the background. Fabulous card, Tracey!
