It's time for a new color duo at the Color Hues Color Challenge! Teammate Stef Perry Gilson chose a fantastic pairing of Navy and Lime Green! I took the opportunity to use my negative die cuts to make two cards.
I used an older die from MFT Stamps and cut one from navy and one from lime green. i inlay the pieces into the opposite colour die cut. To make quick work of doing the inlay I applied pieces of double sided tape on the back of each die cut, then flipped them over and inlay the letters as well as the inside pieces from the B's, R's and A's.
My two A2 sized card bases were matted with a 5 1/4" x 4" piece of white cardstock. The celebrate tags were attached the card front with foam tape.
One in navy...
...and one green.
Although this color combination could be suitable for anyone really, I'm always looking for fun masculine card and color ideas.
A celebrate card could be for a birthday card or as a congratulations card!
I kept thing very clean and simple today but if you haven't already been please go to the Color Hues to see the amazing creations my teammates have made with these colours!
