Hi there friends!
It's time for another color duo at the Color Hues Color Challenge #45!
I finally had a chance to play with the Altenew Golden Days layering stencil! There are so many beautiful details to this stencil and so easy to line up. I used all four layers for my card using three Distress Oxide inksthat are all hues of peach. My base layer is Tattered Rose, then layers two and three were done with Dried Marigold and the final layer was done with Rusty Hinge and a touch of Hickory Smoke for the centre.
I created masks for the flower with full adhesive post it notes so that I could stencil the soft grey clouds that are in the background. I used Hickory Smoke Distress Oxide ink but using a VERY, light hand.
I can't wait to see what you do with this pretty colour palette!

Beautiful design Tracey, and your color choices are perfect.
I thought about using Tattered Rose as my peachy tone then abandoned the idea but it certainly works well as I can see here, beautiful bloom. :)
Tracey, I've admired this set of stencils for a long time! You've shown how beautiful it can be in these shades of peach - those grey clouds were perfect for grounding it to this panel!
