MFT Sketch #277 and Color Challenge #43

IMG_0075

Happy Monday!

We had a successful weekend, getting both of the kids moved. A long day and a lot of teamwork. We got Ben into his new apartment for next fall. Mom and Dad are happy because it is a much nicer place and in a much nicer part of town than he has spent the last two years in. We got everything out of Brooklyn's dorm room and brought her home for the summer, she starts training for her summer job in two weeks.  Ben stayed for the weekend to get himself settled in and he is coming home today for the week and then he heads down into Toronto for the summer for his internship. So there will be a lot of coming and going all summer but also a lot more time spent together as a family than we have had in the past few years.  Thought I would share some of the photos I took during the packup:

On Sunday I had a chance to create a card for the My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Challenge #277 and the Color Challenge #43. I finally broke out my new March Warm & Fuzzy Friends Kit. The images and sentiments are so fun!

I remember the days of shifting kids and their things between dorms/apartments and home! Chris once had a third floor walk-up! Crazy days! Looks like your kids are enjoying the time spent with you. Your card is fun, fantastic, a perfect use of those colors, and the cutest (EVER) take on the sketch! Love those heart dies!! Wonderful card. Bev

Yay for getting to spend more time with your kiddos this summer, Tracey! Connor finishes his first year of college next week, and will be moving back home and attending a college within driving distance next year, so he'll be living here for at least the next 2 years. I don't think leaving the nest was as great as he thought it was going to be lol! I'm happy to have him back though, he's a great kid. Your card is really cute!
