Seize the Birthday #12

Here is my card for this week's Seize the Birthday challenge.

The past few days have flown by so fast and although I had my card planned out yesterday, I could do it today there is nothing on.  Famous last words, when it rains it pours. Ironing that I don't do, drop offs and pick ups and then with 27 minutes left to post my son called from school that he forgot his gear for rugby practice. Of course I can find it in 'that' room and bring it to you.  Too bad these are not the colours for this week's 10 minute craft dash!  I can't remember that last time I made a card with out any stamp or ink anywhere, it felt so strange. Hope you are having a wonderful day.

Cardstock:  Royal Velvet (Papertrey Ink)
Patterned Paper: Hip Hop Hooray Cake & Ice Cream (Doodlebug) Winter Wisteria Stripe (Papertrey Ink)
Dies: Half & Half (Papertrey Ink) Cake & Ice Cream Die cuts (Doodlebug)
other: foam tape, Doodlebug jewel

Wow! I don't think I've ever made a card in 10 minutes or less! If I had it wouldn't look this good!

This is so bright and fun. So glad you at least had a moment to play today. Of course, you are the best mom, so you can find gear in any mess.

Gorgeous card, and even more special because you created in the midst of chaos! You sound like an amazing mom, especially rummaging around in "that" room for your son's gear. Thank you so much for commenting on my Fusion entry; loved the challenge, but those chevrons...grrrr!! Enjoy your evening; I'm coming back to your site to visit: there's a a vast field of 'pretty' to explore...
