The 12 Kits of Holidays - March

Welcome to the March Edition of The 12 Kits of Holidays.  After a long and cold winter the group is focusing this month on cards for Easter and spring.  I am this month's hostess of our kit  and this is what I sent the girls to work with:

The base of the kit was Pebbles Sunnyside patterned paper and from what I heard the girls had a hard time cutting into it. I created some custom words and die cuts for the Paper Smooches Spring Fling stamp set using my Cameo.  Here is a complete list of SUPPLIES. Email me if you have any troubles viewing this.  I am also linking a few of these cards up to the Simon Says Anything Goes challenge.

Very pretty cards and such "happy" paper. I see you live in Oshawa, Ontario. I was born in Toronto and we used to visit friends (years ago) in Oshawa, made me revisit some fond memories!

Now that I get to see your vision of the kit I am left in awe - so many creative things you did - the birdies on the banners (SQUEE!!!) and the button on the flower. Wow--Tracey. You did such an amazing job with your own kit. I love every single card. Brilliant to cut the papers into those pinked squares, that first card almost has the look of a super happy letter I might hope to receive in the mail, I love how you used those easter eggs, and what a great idea to perch those birds on the banners from that paper. I thought of something like that, but couldn't figure out how to pull it off. Thanks so much for such an incredible kit. It was so fun and easy to use, and I am loving what everyone else has done, too.

Your kit was such a joy! LOVED the die cut words and the papers were so perfect for the theme. You gave us so many options. I still have plenty and can't wait to CASE some of the fabulous samples. Yours are AMAZING--awesome job with mixing and matching the papers! Those little birds on the banners and the pinked squares with the bunny are so adorable. And the mini floral print with the navy is just stunning. I love everything!! Thanks again for a fabulous kit. Hope you and your family have a wonderful Easter!!

And I finally arrive at the blog of the hostess with the mostest! Your kit was SO amazing to work with, Tracey. I enjoyed everything right down to the smallest snippet of patterned paper :)!

And you showcased your own kit so beautifully. Love the bunny next to the little pinked patterned squares. The birdie looks right at home on the banner. And your Easter eggs framed by all of the lovely colors and patterns of those papers. Must admit that though I easily cut into the papers, the die cut words are what I hoarded! A little happier about it now because I have seen so many good uses for them on the hop. Thanks again for a wonderful spring kit! :)

Tracey, I have to say that I absolutely LOVED this kit! The papers were so delicious, and I loved the Paper Smooches additions! Next, I'm cracking up that we both decided to use our birds on the line paper! I love how you used two instead of one, the look so sweet perched up there. Then I love the card with the bunny, those four little patches showcase the patterned paper perfectly! Then the egg card, wow, that one is just gorgeous :)
