Happy New Year!
Welcome to the first challenge of 2013 at CASology!
We have some exciting new changes this year at CSAology, we are welcoming three new members to our existing Design Team.
Joining us are:
and Meghan McMillan
Our first Cue Card of the year is:
After I made this first version of my card I added a little more, but after I did I felt the card had lost what I feel is CAS style. Even though I only added one more layer, which is very acceptable in a CAS card, the added layer along with the patterned paper and the bling ends up a bit cluttered. I really liked how my 'extended' version of the card turned out so I decided to share it in this post.
Head on over to CASology today to learn what the 'cue card' means to you, how you can play along and see the all the cards created by the Design Team to inspire you.
I can't wait to see what NEW means to you!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful card, Tracey! Agree that the second card is not as CAS, but still very pretty. So glad you shared both versions. Love to see the "behind the scenes" stuff : ) I often struggle with liking more things on a card but end up leaving them off in the final version. A very happy New Year to you and your family, Tracey!!
