colourQ #156

Has fall found you yet?  We have gone from a heat wave after heat wave summer is to beautiful fall weather in Southern Ontario. I still haven't given up my flip flops but socks and closed toe shoes are being worn too.

It is time for another colourQ palette and it is full of fall colours.  I would love four of these pillows to put on my couch in the family room.

I added four stamped rectangles of tiny herringbone pattern from PTI Background Basics: Herringbone, one in each of this weeks colours.   I also die cut and stamped four of the large buttons from Button Boutique, again one in each colour.  I tried a design of just the herringbone, then just the buttons then I decided to put the buttons on the herringbone.

Be sure to visit the colourQ and see what the rest of the Design Team has come up with to inspire you. We hope you come and play with us this week!

All Supplies are from Papertrey Ink unless otherwise noted:

Cardstock:  White
Stamps: Background Basics: Herringbone, Button Boutique (PTI), Autumn (Hero Arts)
Ink:  Terracotta Tile, Orange Zest, Classic Kraft, Autumn Rose
Dies: Buttoned Up 2
other: Button Twine, foam dots

And I'm so sorry to hear of the passing of your father-in-law. My deepest sympathy to you and your family.

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful! Against the crisp white this is just stunning. Herringbone is such a great fall pattern too, it ties in so well.

Fun card, Tracey, I love the backgrounds behind the buttons! It is still 90 here these days, so I feel your heat wave! Have a great Wednesday!
