CFC60: Text Me

Second post today.  To see my CASology post click HERE.

This week the CASual Fridays challenge is to create a Clean and Simple project that includes text in the design.  I pulled out an old favourite stamp.  It was one of the first rubber stamps I ever bought.  It is Browning Poem made by All Night Media.

How do I love thee? Let me count the ways.
I love thee to the depth and breadth and height
My soul can reach, when feeling out of sight
For the ends of Being and ideal Grace.
I love thee to the level of every day's
Most quiet need, by sun and candlelight.
-Elizabeth Barrett Browning

The stamp always had a problem, it wasn't mounted on the wood block straight.  Twenty five seconds in the microwave and I was able to remove the stamp from the wood block.  The rubber and wood block were still warm, therefore the glue was too and I was able to re-position it, press it down and once cooled it was secure.  Just a tip.

I stamped it on white cardstock and then die cut with the largest heart die.  I adhered it to the red scalloped square with foam dots, added a sentiment and done.

All Supplies are from Papertrey Ink unless otherwise noted:

Cardstock: White, Pure Poppy
Stamps: Love & Marriage (PTI) Browning Poem (All Night Media)
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black (Tsukineko)
Dies:  Heart Prints, Limitless Layers Squares
Other:   foam dots

Tracey, this is just beautiful and stunning! Love your CAS style here : ) Beautiful stamp verse. I just did the same thing with a wood mount stamp that I found out too late was crooked, although I was able to peel it right off and re-stick it. Good tip about the microwave if peeling does not do the trick.
