colourQ challenge #139

Another fantastic colour pallet at colourQ this week.  Talk about whiplash.  I was so excited to use my new Papertrey Heart-2-Heart telephone stamp and die.  I had all my pieces ready, I had sketched my design and knew exactly what I wanted to do.  Then I stamped my sentiment three times on my focal point where I was going to lay the telephone over and I just stopped, I couldn`t do it.  Loved the card without the telephone.  So into my scrap bin goes the telephone for another card.

It is raining today--Yay!  We have not had much more than a few showers over the past month so we really need this.  My photos today are not taken in natural light but with my trusty Ott Lights. Have a great weekend everyone!

All Supplies are from Papertrey Ink unless otherwise noted:

Cardstock: White, Spring Rain, Autumn Rose, Enchanted Evening, Fine Linen Paper Pack
Stamps: Heart-2-Heart
Ink: Spring Rain, Autumn Rose, Classic Kraft
Dies: Chevrons, Tag Sale #6 (compliment of Joyce)
Other:  foam dots, Classic Kraft ribbon, Rustic Jute Button Twine

This is wonderful. I think you made a fantastic card that could go either gender, and when I saw those colors, I did not think--man. Great job. Doesn't that 'hello' look so fun stamped in many colors?

Funny how we start out with an idea and wind up with something different! The three sentiments look terrific on the tag! Thanks for joining us at colourQ!

Another great clean design ~ I did not realize how close Autumn Rose is to Rich Razzleberry.
