Time for a new Cue Card at CASology!

The cue for this week is:

Tell me what kid would love to have a pet monkey!
The monkey image was not hanging from anything, so on his own he seemed out of place on the card. So I stamped him on a circle and then put the brown scallop frame on the circle.  Still looking a bit lost I stamped some greenery at the top of the circle, grounding the monkey image.

Birthday Ensemble and Paper Smooches Sparks

Yesterday was my baby's 17th birthday!

No idea where the last 17 years has gone, but I do know they went fast.

For her birthday we bought her a Flamingo charm for her Pandora bracelet, she loves Flamingos. I wanted to do something fun to wrap up her gift rather than just give it to her in the Pandora bag.  After checking out some store bought embellishments I decided that I could make my own.

Now the card I made for her does not match the ensemble but the image is of one of her favourite foods of all time. Really she would like to be a vegetarian, she does not like most meat but she simply cannot live without tacos or hamburgers! Go figure. I bought this Paper Smooches set knowing that she would love this image. She absolutely squealed when she opened the envelope.

Penny's 1st Birthday

You remember back in the summer when I introduced my great niece Penny and her meet Penny party HERE. On Tuesday Penny turns one and although I don't have a photo of her from today I will say she is happy and adorable. A little monkey for sure.

Here is the card I made for her party today. My card wasn't quite as tasty this time, she was more interested in chasing Sam our dog around. Something about those waggety tails!
