Seize the Birthday Challenge #1

Popping in with a card for the 1st official challenge at Seize the Birthday!

My son and my brother's youngest daughter were born 6 weeks apart, so my niece will be celebrating her 18th birthday in February.  How is this for getting ahead?

Here is the sketch to follow for this week's challenge. I gave the sketch a crank to the left to make this colourful girlie card.

Feminine Grad Card

My daughter graduated from grade 8 this week.  She was the Valadictorian, and won the Leadership and Performing Arts Awards.  We couldn't be more proud.

Another CAS card using some of my favourite goodies.  The scroll was made by wrapping a 1 3/4" x 6" piece of paper around a pencil, gluing almost at the end so that the paper had a bit of a flap to it.  Then I tied a small piece of black and white baker's twine around for an authentic look.
