Tag You're It #56 - REMINDER

Happy Friday!
Did fall arrive yet where you are?

The leaves were slow to start changing this year but each day there is more and more colour!
I love the warmth of summer but I equally love the warmth of putting on a sweater in the fall!
Thursday I headed up to Sudbury with my parents to visit the kids armed with some home cooking for their freezers, a quick health check and to take them out for lunch. It was my parents first time to Sudbury to see where their grandchildren were going to University and to have a look at campus life. The only downside was that it poured with rain all day!

There is still time to play along at Tag You're It #56!

it is also the first day of the Fall Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!

Inspired by Taheerah's simple sentiment and gold ink splatters I created a tag with the Fall Coffee Lovers Blog Hop in mind. Fall says goodbye to the iced caps and frappuccinos of the summer and only leaves room for a warm cuppa and colours like coffee and black.

RetroSketches #183

Happy Saturday!

It's time for a new sketch at RetroSketches!
This week our sketch is inspired by an adorable card that Arielle previously posted. My theme is inspired by Fall Coffee Lovers Blog Hop. I missed the summer hop because we were in the throws of buying, selling and moving but I didn't want to let this one go by without playing. My technique is inspired by Anita Bowden's gorgeous card over at MUSE this week, I went with the technique of embossing, her circles and pastel colour palette.

Yesterday I told you that I still haven't located one of the boxes from my craft room. In that box is my Papertrey Ink Drips & Dribbles stamp set which I wanted to use for my card. So I thought outside the box and grabbed a coffee cup from the kitchen and some kraft ink--wala coffee spills!

I am also linking this up to Time Out Challenges #40 which is to case my card as a reminder there is still time to play along.

Hope to see you join us at RetroSketches this week.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
