What I Am Reading Right Now...



The latest novel by Kate Morton, The Distant Hours, just was released in paperback.  After reading the first 30 pages, I couldn't put it down.  This is truly a romantic thriller.  That would not be a genre that I would reach for, but because I enjoyed her first two novels so much I had to get it.  I find the level of detail in her writing pulls you right into the story. 

What I am Reading Right Now...

I am reading my second book written by Kate Morton.  It is actually the first book that she has written.  While following a good storyline you are also learning about events in history and the behaviours of the people in that era rich and poor.  I am really enjoying this one.

Reading the book right now, honestly it started out good, then hit a slow spot for me, but now it has picked up again and I am really enjoying it.  Want to read it before the movie comes out in the spring starring Reese Witherspoon and Robert Pattinson.  See trailer here.

What I am Reading Right Now...



I am reading the Forgotten Garden by Kate Morton.  Now almost a year old I finally had a chance to read it and I can't put it down.  I love that the reader is able to solve the mystery through the eyes of the different characters and different time periods.  I haven't enjoyed a book this much since reading the Twilight Series. In my opinion? An excellent read.
