Hi there crafty friends!
Never have I ever been so excited to see March arrive. I know we are still a long way to the end of winter, but we are on the back side of it now. No longer seeing those crazy negative double digits, at least not during the day. Next I'm looking forward to the big melt and thankful that we are at the top of the ravine we back on to so the water has somewhere to go!
Today is also the start of a brand new colour duo at the Color Hues Color Challenge! Teammate Carol Mayne has chosen Green and White for the first half of March and for me that makes me think of St. Patrick's Day.
I started off using an older Concord & 9th stamp set called Brighter Days, it is still one of my most favourite rainbow dies even though it has been discontinued. I cut the panel first with largest die from Lawn Fawn's Outside In Stitched Rectangles. I stamped my rainbow with two shades of green. The inks are both from Catherine Pooler--Lime Rickey and Grass Skirt.
I also used Catherine Pooler Clovers & Blooms stamps and dies to create a four leaf clover stamped with Grass Skirt set into the centre of my rainbow and popped up with foam tape.

The perfect card to kick of March! Very cute, Tracey!
I LOVE your rainbow, Tracey - and I'm happy that this collection resides in my stash, too. The little clover and gold lucky are the perfect special touches.
Glad that melting will be happening soon for you; time for Spring to make an appearance.
hugs~c
Love it Tracey!
WE ALL are so lucky to have YOU, Tracey! This is so fun! It's clear to me that I need to add that CP Grass Skirt ink to my stash!

I am so glad to see that someone on the team went with a Luck of the Irish card. Your green rainbow arches are stamped perfectly in alternating shades and I love that you added the gold too. can't have a rainbow without some gold somewhere. Wonderful card!
Great idea with the green rainbow Tracey and the lucky sentiment die cut. The last few days here have been sunny but at this time of year it means frosty mornings, nothing like yours though. The bulbs are showing colour and a bumble bee was buzzing round them yesterday! :)
Your card is so charming, Tracey! The green rainbow and shamrock are the perfect symbols of St. Patrick’s Day, and the word "Lucky" ties it all together beautifully.
I love this green rainbow, Tracey! It's so perfect for St Patrick's Day, especially with the four leaf clover! I love how the die cut and stamped sentiment balances the rainbow perfectly!
Tracey this makes me smile~so cute in these colors!!!
Awesome card Tracey and I'm loving the shades of green you used for your rainbow! The gold really POPS too...such a FUN card for the beginning of March! Sure hope all your snow melts soon...can't believe how much you had this year! Hugs. :0)
Tracey, this is such a CUTE card! I adore the green rainbow and the sentiment is fabulous! I'm so glad things are warming up for you (that's relative, of course!), you've had an unbelievable amount of snow this winter. Hurry up, Spring!
Your combined elements are absolutely perfect!!! I adore this card so much. I hope your grass is soon just as green. *wink* (Mean coming from FL, huh? LOL!)
LOVE this card, Tracey, and I've pinned it! I'm quite I'll be CASEing it next year for my husband's St. Patrick's Day birthday!!!
