Our tree is artificial and it is up and strung with lights...my job today is to decorate it. Love the tags today...especially the one with the cactus on it.

To answer todays question... I have several trees in my house at Christmas time. All artificial :)

Such pretty tags - I love the variety of them! We have a small artificial tree, I have had real ones in the past and found that they really get my allergies going BIG time! Thanks for organizing this fun event Tracey! And thanks to all the generous sponsors!

Oh wow! Everyone's tag is amazing! We have an artificial tree. I grew up with one and only had a real tree once. From what I remember it was not the most fun my parents had and we never had another! LOL. :-)

Love these tags today! Our tree is always real, but last year we had a new kitten so we put up a tiny ceramic tree my husband made and we LOVED the idea!
Take Care!

Always a real tree.... love the look, love the fragrance!
Beautiful, classic red/green tags and a fabulous giveaway. Many thanks!

Stunning red and green tags from the Christmas Muse team...and your tree, decorated with red baubles and the single gold star is stunning! We have an incredibly teensy artificial tree...but I'll be using my real pinecones to surround it! Thank you, again, for the amazing inspiration!

Fab inspiration today.
When we were still living in the Netherlands, we always had a real Christmas tree. Since we moved to Crete, Greece 7 years ago, we didn't have any tree but maybe we'll get an artifical one this year. That's the only type we can get here, which makes perfect sense considering the climate. In Greek (and Cretan) villages you will typically see a municipal Christmas ship rather than a tree, because it's deemed to be more traditional, but there doesn't seem to be any evidence to support this.

I am so enjoying seeing the tags everyday!

We have a real tree every year. When I still lived at home we had an artificial. I don't mind either, actually, as I find Christmas trees are always beautiful.

So delighted to be one of your sponsors this year, Tracey! Can't wait to see how everyone is inspired by our tags!

ARtificial. We are away too much to keep one alive !

I already posted about our tree, but what is the stamp you used for your tag? I adore it! At first I thought it was PTI, but I cannot find it anywhere. it is gorgeous!

Amazing tags from you all. My christmas tree is a small fibre optic artificial one that my Dad bought me many years ago and each year I get a thrill when I put it up which is usually the first or second week of December xx

Oh Tracey, your tree is just gorgeous!!!! I love all of these tags, so much inspiration!

We have all artificial trees, my Daughter and I are allergic to the pine.

Diane Jaquay said...

Oh MY, these are some gorgeous tags!! We've used an artificial tree for the past few years.

Sandy said...

My husband is in charge of putting lighting on the tree, so he decided on a pre-lit artificial tree...
Another awesome selection of tags. Love the die-cut and stamps you used on yours Tracy.

Linda said...

I once said I would never have an artificial tree but caved in a few years ago. I used it 3 or 4 years and then decided it was as much work as a real tree. So I have gone back to a real tree that has been flocked and looks so real.
Lovely tags.

Lovely designs! We're celebrating our first Christmas in our new home and will be getting a real tree next week. Been looking forward to that day since October!

Awesome tags love them all and our tree is real I couldn't live with an artificial I love the smell of the tree.

Rachel Bergfeld said...

Our tree is artificial. I found out when I was a kid that I'm allergic to the sap, so a real one is out of the question for me.

Sweet tags! Hubby is allergic, so we have a fake tree. I miss the scent of a real tree, but don't miss having the pine needles everywhere :)

Very festive tags!! Already day 24th!?

Well we do decorate a live tree in our household however it's not a pine tree. We used to buy a live one but the kids decided not to kill anymore tree, but they don't want an artificial one either; so we decorate a very tall (over 10 feet) umbrella tree instead! ;)

Marilyn in Michigan said...

I will have to case your tag today. Love it! Fake tree for me.

Melissa Friedrich said...

Love these holiday tags, so red and cheery! Love the tag detail on your tag Tracey and the delicate tree. We always have a real tree, love the smell of real pine in the house.

Megan said...

Last year I was gone for a lot of December, so I just put up the tiny ceramic tree with lights from my Grandma :)

Lindsey said...

So cool to see my little tag hanging out with all these beautiful creations today! We like to have a white pine for our Christmas tree each year. Artificial white one growing up, though.

Miriam Prantner said...

Love these tags, especially yours. I really love that delicate sweet tree! We are all about real trees!

Denise Bryant said...

Love your pretty tag, Tracey! Gorgeous shape and details on the tag as well as a beautiful tree stamp!
My tree is a fake one! Bought it many years ago and it could use a replacement!

Amy C. said...

We have a very old artificial tree. Each year it looses more and more needles. I joke that one year when we open up the box, it will have finally disappeared!

Kristie Maynard said...

Lovely! Thanks for sharing these with us.
Real or fake tree depends on the year. When have a real one we go cut it ourselves, but there are years when we do an artificial tree decorated with only my Snowbaby collection of ornaments.

stempelwelt said...

I love all those tags using traditional Christmas colors! And yours is sooo elegant, Tracey!!

Christine said...

Great tags, I was really drawn to the Christmas cactus one. I am not sure which we will have this year! Growing up we always had a real one. Now I switch on and off between artificial and real.

Isabel Z said...

We have one of each--the artificial in the family room and the real one in the less used living room which has the fire place for Santa to descend.

Happy Thanksgiving to you and your loved ones.

DELIGHTFUL tags today!!!
WOW - your tag is GORGEOUS Tracey, LOVE your tree, LOVE the sentiment, LOVE the shape too!!! I think this is my favourite :)
Our Christmas tree is a little real one (it is a living tree) in a pot, it enjoys being inside with us over Christmas and then lives tucked in the garden for the rest of the year.

Kristie Goulet said...

Beautiful tags! We used to always have a real tree until we put a pellet stove in our living room then it dried out too fast. We now have an unusual artificial one. ;)

Helen Gullett said...

We have my husband's grandma's old artificial tree because it was too big for her to trimm so we traded ours with hers :)
Gorgeous inspirations today!

We finally caved and got a fake tree-- it really helps with my husband's allergies...

Karen King said...

We have an artificial tree but every few years we get a real one.

Irene Grau said...

I have to tell a story...the last time we had a tree, I was 3 or 4 years old. After that my parents opened a restaurant and never saw the purpose of a tree at home that we weren't never around to appreciate (we essentially lived at the restaurant during the day). There was no room for a tree at the restaurant, so no tree there either. Once the restaurant was sold, we kids were adults and, again, the parents saw no need for a tree (believing it's "for the kids"). One year I really wanted a tree, but didn't want to spend tons of money on decorations (because remember, no tree for almost 20 years). So I bought Christmas-wrapped Hershey's kisses, made little packages with plastic wrap and ribbon, and tied them to a fake twig tree my dad had made as home decor (I think it was supposed to look sort of like a cherry blossom tree?) It actually came out cute. I wish now I'd taken a picture. lol So...to answer the question...still no tree.

Maureen Reiss said...

Wow WOW W*O*W!!!! We have a fake tree

Wonderful tags! I love all the different stamps and dies used to create these!!!

We get a live tree every year. I love the smell and it's a fun tradition to go hunting for "the" tree!

Thanks so much for sharing and inspiring!

Fantastic tags by all! Love seeing all the inspirational trees! Our tree is artificial and we broke down and ordered a new one this year. Many of the lights were no longer working!!

Bobby said...

Your Muse Mates did a wonderful job on their tags, Tracey. We have a miniscule artificial tree.

Jeanne Jordan said...

Ours is artificial and has been for a long time. . . mainly due to my cat and allergies! But, we don't let that dampen our spirits!

Judy Tuck said...

I love real trees but I do put up an artificial tree.

Shona Chambers said...

Those MUSE girls are amazing!!!! We unfortunately have a fake Xmas tree but only because the dog would probably chew it to bits and pull it outside!!

Kara Lynne said...

We have an artificial tree, but I love a real one! I just ordered that PTI tag you used for your wonderful tag! I'll have to pin this! All the tags are wonderful together!

Teresa Doyle said...

Tracey, thank you so much for doing this. I am a tag lover and have been enjoying it so much. Thanks to you and these designers and companies I have pinned MANY of them. I have also been introduced to some new products and techniques. I am pretty sure I missed a few but have been trying hard to see as many as possible.
We ALWAYS have a real tree but the past couple years I have come dangerously close to buying a fake one with built in lights! LOL

Aileen (mum) said...

After twenty years of real trees I finally but the bullet and went artificial. Have to say its a beauty though and looks wonderful.

Barb Ghig said...

Gorgeous tag, Tracey! Your tree is so pretty and I love the stitched tag and tri-color bells! Beautiful collection of tags from the Muse team, too :)
We have a real tree. I love how each one is unique...it makes it so much fun every year to have something a little different.

Linda said...

it's definitely artificial! Love it! Had a real one as kids and am fine either way really....real ones are messier. Gorgeous tags girls!

Marisa said...

I love the smell of real tree but hate the clean up so we no do artificial one. Sometimes I get a few boughs for the smell factor ;)

Lisa's Creative Niche said...

Oh I love these! We have an artificial tree that was a first wedding gift from my in laws and I cherish it!

Jean Bullock said...

Loved the tags. Artificial. I gave up real trees years ago when I had to ask my kids, do you want presents or a real tree. We all know the answer to that. My little daughter wanted presents but she also wanted her tree. So she drew a tree on some large paper I had and we hung it on the wall and then taped our tiny Christmas lights on to it. We plugged it in. I think that was our best tree ever.

TaeEun said...

We have an artificial tree with lights. Beautiful tags! Yours is so cute with tiny red stars!

mandalj said...

I only wish I had more time to put all this inspiration into practice! We used to have a live tree in a pot until it died :( and now we have an artificial one we made ourselves.
