Happy Tuesday and time for this week's challenge at CASology!

This week our Cue Card is:

Nothing says spring to me like tulips!

Although many of you are seeing tulip where you are we still have traces of snow around where I am. There have been many times in the past that my tulips have come and gone in March but no such luck this year. In the meantime I will settle for sharing tulips on a card!

Songs of the South - March '15

It's the last day of the month and that means it's time for the 12 Kits of Occasions!

This month Marybeth was our hostess. She created a fabulous kit with beautiful papers, stamped images and die cuts. I easily pulled together 5 cards. The colours of red, black and kraft were definitely different for me, but they were so much fun to use! So lets get on with the projects...

This was the first card I made as soon as we got our kits, that banner die is fabulous!

The Challenge #28 Guest Design

Happy Monday, I am so happy to share with you today that I am guesting over at The Challenge for their One Year Anniversary Celebration!

The theme for this challenge is Anything Goes and SugarPea Designs if offering a gift certificate to one random participant in the challenge, how sweet is that!

30 Day Coloring Challenge -Day 25

The fun thing about crafty get together's is that you get to play with the other kids toys!
On Saturday Emily bought her Gansai watercolours to play with. Oh my goodness they are awesome! The creamy texture takes watercolouring, for me, to a whole new level! I wish that I had started to play earlier in the day with them because I ended up rushing a bit. However, I did manage to get a few of the Ellen Essentials Bold Blooms coloured.

Ellen Hutson Pin-Sights Challenge

Hello Sunday!

I am playing along today with the new Ellen Hutson Pin-Sights Challenge.

Yesterday I had my three lovely Toronto crafty friends Ardyth Percy-Robb, Emily Leiphart and Tasha Kara come to my house to play!

We met up first at Kelsey's for lunch which was a great idea because the food was great and we had a chance to catch up so that when we got to my house we were ready to get to work (sort of). Emily lined up some challenges for us to do and I tackled this one using some new to me Essentials by Ellen stamps and dies. I can't totally take the credit for all of this, as I was trying to figure how I was going to use the Folk Heart dies Emily suggested a shaker. Great idea girl!

RetroSketches #158

Time for this week's Sketch at RetroSketches!

Well after being home for 6 days I think the jet lag and 10 days touring on foot the jet lag is wearing off. We haven't had too much time to go through photos, but I promise I will share some soon. What I can share with you is a photo of the sweet and thoughtful surprises that she brought home to us.

My girl know that her mama loves her Coke, so an empty mini bottle from Rome. When the kids were younger we did a lot of camping and picked up magnets everywhere we went, so when she saw this magnet she needed to bring it home. Love having her back home again! She modeled her prom dress for Ardyth, Emily and Nastasha today!
