Happy Tuesday and it's time for a new colour palette at the colourQ!
Today is also my last post for colourQ.
A difficult decision to make, I have been with the team since July of 2012.
Time sure flies when you are having fun. I am restructuring a few things on my plate right now and felt it was time to leave and make room for some new talent. Arielle has been such an amazing person to work with and can you believe that this is the 250th challenge that she has created a colour scheme for? She picks the most fabulous inspiration to draw the colours from. I will miss her and the team.
Check out this week's fabulous inspiration:
Thank you Arielle, this card's for you!
When you use a panel on your card, what does the back look like? Is is pristine and white, does it have a mistake or two, is it a mistake from a completely different card, or maybe something you tried but decided not to use? I tend to be one of those those waste not want not kind of people. At one time or another I have had all of the above on the back of my panels. I thought I would share what is on the back of today's card. Trying out something that looked great in my head but was a fail on paper, then it became scratch paper to try out what I ended up doing ...I think it looks kind of cool, just not cool enough to use--lol
Hop over to the colourQ to see what the rest of the amazing Design Team has for your inspiration!

I love seeing the other side. Shows our thought processes of how we create. I quite often have a completely smudged panel on the other side! I'm sure it was a hard decision to step down. You've been a fabulous designer for ColourQ.
Love that you channeled the photo in your card design.
A lovely last card with the team!!
Gorgeous! I loveeeeeeee the colors!!!!
Perfect Tracey!
I love your card, Tracey!

Oh what a fantastic take on that photo inspiration, Tracey!! Love what you did!
Your card is fabulous Tracey. I love the swirls mixed with the circles.
This is so gorgeous, Tracey! I love the combination of the flourishes and dots, I have that flourish set and I've got to remember to pull it out and USE it lol!
pretty card!!
This is truly one fabulous card Tracey...and you will be missed. I always look forward to seeing your creation for inspiration each week. And to finish up with this amazing beauty, just perfect!
Well I'm just swooning over those big chunky polka dots! Pretty card Tracey and it was fun to see the back! You know we are all going to miss you, you have done an amazing job!!
What a fantastic take on the inspiration photo, Tracey ... all those fabulous dots are brilliant with the black flourishes! Great to see the back and how your design developed! Anita :)
These flourishes are absolutely fabulous with the sentiment, Tracey! Gorgeous color combo, too! I can't wait for the dies to be back in stock...grrr!
The back of your card actually looks great...but I see why you would opt for the 'cleaner' design...it's really perfect!
What a gorgeous card, Tracey! Now I see the inspiration photo, I love it even more! So sweet of you to share "the other side"!! Love your initial design, too! You are going to be missed for sure. You have worked some magic in this team! Way to go on a job well done!
Ooooh, very pretty!!! Love the colors!
Oohhh, makes me want to say "great take on the inspiration photo" but that wasn't the challenge! Love the card. I'm sure you will be terribly missed at Colour Q.
I thought your card was "Runway Inspired"! What a beautiful way to end your term. I'm sure you'll be missed!
ok this is too fabulous.. perfect take on the challenge..
What a fabulous card to top off your years at ColourQ. Will miss seeing your great designs every week but I hope that we'll see plenty of your great stuff elsewhere.
What a gorgeous way to exit! Your card is perfect for the photo, love this! Many times the other side of my card is stamped on, smudged or bad idea. :)
Playing catch up after returning from vacation. Your card is just lovely with all the colorful circles and flourishes!
LOVE the pretty swirls and perfectly placed circles! TFS the other side too. I'm with you about saving paper. Once something is glued down, no one knows!
I'm going to miss seeing your creations on ColourQ; your inspiration is what brought me to this challenge site. On the other hand, you have quite the plentiful plate, and we still have the delight of seeing your dazzling creations in other places. So glad to know that I'm in good company with 'used' panels as part of my cards! Your card is gorgeous and that 'back' panel is pretty delightful, too!
Hugs~c
