Seize the Birthday

IMG_4003

Happy Saturday!

Today we are heading up to Sudbury again to see Ben and to go look at some apartments for next year! Are you kidding me? I was just getting used to him driving when he headed to University but now living of his own? I think it may be the allure of a full sized fridge!  Regardless it should be a fun day. Hope it is a nice day for traveling.

A post needs a card, so a birthday card for fun. I was itching too try out my new Text Block Birthday die from Papertrey Ink. I love that you can put a birthday card together in just a couple of minutes using the die and some patterned paper.

I just tried out this die last night, too! I'll post it in a couple of days. My design is very, very similar to yours. ;-) Have fun looking at apartments! Your little boy is growing up, lol!

This is fabulous. Love it with that patterned paper, too. I completely forgot I had this die, and I went and made a card with it, too. I guess I'd better go all the way with my copy catting of you, and enter at Seize the BD, too. Hope you had a great day with Ben.

Love the dp behind this fantastic die, Tracey! Those colors are just amazing -- they feel so Spring-like. That little flag is the perfect finishing touch too. Great card. And hope you had fun with Ben, as well as a safe trip there and back. Bev

Lovely birthday card. I was going to buy that cover plate, but there were so many other goodies I wanted instead. It does make a quick card though. Love your little side tag.

Love that background paper for this card! And Hawaiian Shores is one of my very favorite colors so I'm not surprised my eye was drawn to this card!
