After 15 ½ hours without hydro from the ice storm. We have power again and the furnace is running, it was getting mighty chilly in the house. I have some photos at the end of the post of the view out the back and front. We just got home from picking Ben up at the bus terminal. So happy to have my boy home for the holidays!
A final tag to share, this one is a wine bottle tag perfect for the last minute hostess gift! So excited to use my new Bright Season stamp and die. The Waltzingmouse Bright Season die has target holes which make for perfect placement of the die over the stamped image. The die alone has embossed detail so you could use it on its own or stamp and die cut as I did here. I cut both and had a tough time choosing. I think I was in a stamping mood, so the stamped die cut won.
Cardstock: White (Papertrey Ink)
Stamps: Bright Season (Waltzingmouse)
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black (Tsukineko) Real Red, Pear Pizzaz (Stampin' Up) Harvest Gold (Papertrey Ink)
Dies: Bright Season (Waltzingmouse) Wine Bottle Tag (Papertrey Ink) Tag Punch (Martha Stewart)
other: red ribbon

What a beautiful tag. And I'm glad you have heat again.
Terrifying, but beautiful photos, Tracey. Those bent frozen firs really tell the story! I'm glad you are safe, that Ben is safely home, and that your power is restored!
Your last tag is like Super Tag, bigger, better, and more powerful than the other tags! Startled by it's magnificence, I swallowed my gum when I saw it!
Have a wonderful happy holiday with no more ice storms!! Big hugs, Darnell
Oh, my goodness, that storm sure was a whopper! So glad you are all safe and your power is back on! Love your beautiful tag, Tracey! Merry Christmas to you and your family! ♥
Another awesome tag, Tracey. And you are blessed to have your family home under one roof. What a storm, glad you have power now and can enjoy the BIG day in warmth with family and good food. Merry Christmas to you!
Another awesome tag, Tracey...love that lantern! And so glad that your whole family is under one warm roof and you can enjoy the holiday with everyone safe...Have a most blessed day!
Hi Tracey, the radiating light is so clever and really shines through!! Rainy and windy here but no White Christmas for us! Have a wonderful Christmas with your family xx
The pictures are gorgeous, but ice storms are so scary. I'm glad the power is back on and that Ben made it home safely.
Your tag is gorgeous. I adore the die.
This is gorgeous!!! LOVING the lantern!! And your photos are gorgeous!!!!
Wow, that was some storm! Glad you are all safe. I love, LOVE this last tag. It's stunning! Merry Christmas.
Glad to hear that you and your family are safe, warm and cozy, with heat and light restored. Your photos reveal nature's power and beauty; I've thought of you often as news has unfolded. Hopefully you won't have far to venture in the next few days! Your tag (Darnell's comment really does capture it all; she's priceless!), truly is jaw-dropping stunning; a beautiful dressing for a bottle of wine!
c
what a great wine tag!!
stay safe!
I love your super wine bottle tag, Tracey! Perfection!
WOW! You got quite the storm. I was very surprised we didn't get any of the ice, only the rain. Thankful you have power and your family is all together. Merry Christmas to you and yours! xo
Such a beautiful tag, Tracey! It has that "...all is calm, all is bright" feel to it! Simply wonderful. We had some freezing rain, a day of warm, and then 5" of heavy, wet, heart-attack snow. Supposed to get more today, and then tomorrow. So glad your son is home safely for the holidays. God bless you and your family at Christmas and in the New Year. Bev
The stamped one looks like a winner to me. Beautiful tag. Glad you have power and your "sun". Yep, that ice is brutal. Beverly from Dallas, TX
Those frozen bent trees and the icicles on your table make me shiver! So happy Ben is home safe and sound and that things are getting toasty warm again!!
Your tag is beautiful, what a great image & die!!
Fabulous tag and a great bottle dressing :)
My cousin lives in Richmond Hill and was w/o power for 12 hours. Beautiful to look at, but scarey stuff! Glad you are safe and sound with all power restored. Think the Hydro guys need some pressies for working hard to restore the power in less than ideal conditions!
Lovely lantern tag, Tracey ... the red ribbon's just perfect with it! What a storm you had ... amazing pictures. Good to hear you have power and your son safe home! Anita :)
Lots of damaged trees in Toronto and also in Milton. I am staying in Milton at my daughter's house as we have no power in Scarborough. 1 tree in front of her house and 1 in front of her neighbour's house came down in the storm and at one point she was unable to get out of her driveway!
Very nice wine tag - love the ribbon on it.
What a beautiful tag!! Glad you survived the ice storm and that everyone made it home safely :)
Thought about you when I heard about the ice storms. Glad you have heat again and happy for you that your son is home! Love your wine tag--what a great way to end your series! Happy Holidays, Tracey!
Gorgeous tag...fabulous use of WMS!! So glad you have power now!!
Oh my goodness. The ice may look pretty but it can be so devastating! I'm glad to hear the heat is back on. I know what it's like to have a cold house. I lost power last February for about 32 hours and the temperature in my house was about 39F when the power finally came back on. Brrr. Merry Christmas to you and your family!!
Wow! You really did get a big storm! I'm glad all is well now, and I wish you a very happy holiday!
Love your beautiful tag, Tracey! Stunning design and perfect for that bottle...such a lovely gift, too!
wine tag, my FAV!!!
What a fabulous tag Tracey...I love that set and it really makes a wonderful gift too and it looks amazing on the dark bottle of wine. Your photos are amazing too, but wishing you better weather sooner than later...stay warm.
Hi Tracey,
I just wanted to stop by to say 'Thank You' for selecting my card for HM at CASology this week...you have really made my day :-)
beautiful!
Oh what a gorgeous tag Tracey!
Booo to ice storms...they do make pretty pictures but I'm so glad that your power is up & running!
Merry Christmas Eve!
I know that ice storm wreaked quite a bit of havoc and destruction, but it sure looks beautiful in pictures, especially when I am sitting here in warmer weather. This is a fabulous tag, and absolutely perfect for delivering a holiday bottle of wine. I think I'm going to make one just like it to have on hand, just in case.
Glad your power is back on & your son got home safely. Beautiful tag--so festive! Merry Christmas to you & your family, Tracey!
I'm glad to hear that you & your family are okay! I was thinking of you!
I hope you were still able to have a merry Christmas!
Oh, and I love your bottle tag, by the way -- it's gorgeous!
So glad your power came back on! The pictures are incredible! That was some storm!!! Love your beautiful tag! Stunning! :).
Gorgeous way to dress up a bottle - the perfect keep you warm gift for a cold winter night! The ice is so pretty when you can stay inside until it melts!
What an interesting(?) holiday season you have had!! Hopefully, creating the warmth of this tag helped a little! (And, of course, I'm sure having Ben home helped too!!)
That lantern is a beautiful image, and you've used it so well here as a wine tag. Really dresses things up! So happy you're enjoying time with family. A very Merry Christmas to you, my friend!
rockin' awesome! it is fab how the ring goes over the top edge!!!!! I love your yard too!
