Welcome to this month's edition of The 12 Kits of the Holidays. If this is the first time that you are arriving at a 12 Kits post this is what it is about. We are a group of 12 designers who each take a month and create an identical kit for all 12 members of the group. We each create cards and projects which we share on the 30th of each month on our blogs.
We are shifting gears back to Christmas this month with our hostess Jeanne Jachna from A Kept Life. Her kit was just loaded with all kinds of Christmas goodies--gorgeous papers and die cuts that make your head just spin. I spent so much time checking it out before I finally cut into the first piece of paper. Take a look at all the wonderful goodies she sent to us to play with:
I made 4 cards this month and a project. I still have so much left over to still play with and to CASE the other's with.
I was so taken with the birch tree paper from Aspen Frost it was the first card that I made. I used this week's sketch from CAS(E) this Sketch for my design. This is what I came up with.
For my last item I created a mini take out box using the Sizzix die cut Petal Cone by following instructions ii found on You Tube!
Hope you enjoyed my take on the kit. Go have a look at what the other's have done with their kits. I am sure you won't be disappointed.

All supplies for the kit are listed on Jeanne's blog HERE.
Have a wonderful day!

But what gorgeous cards...
love that I still have that fabulous birch paper! ;)
But dying over that incredible box...
and do believe I shall be "borrowing" your idea! :)
These are out of this world Tracey! I must say I am quite smitten with your last card, what a pretty little die cut label! Your take out box is the bomb...too stinkin cute!!!
Tracey--you did such a great job on these cards. They are all so wonderful--I think my very favorite is that take out box. I need to find out how to do that, because I just love that idea. And, love how you wrapped the box, too. Brilliant idea with that deer and woodgrain paper--another thing I will case because I hoarded both of those supplies. And, your card with the tree--just perfect and you found the perfect sentiment, too.
EEEK! Love your take on the kit Tracey - I'm always more is more, and you proved me wrong! I am so envious of your CAS style - you made all the images shine! I think they are all fabulous and I love seeing the kit through your eyes - a complete 180 from me Tracey! The pennant card is wonderful and the take out box.. I never saw that one coming!
These all look fabulous, Tracey! I especially love the one with the deer and the woodgrain-- love that combination!
Tracey these are just amazing! I really love the clean look of all your cards and that sweet little treat box, just adorable. My favorite card is the one with the ribboned paper clip, so stunning and so beautiful...and your placement of the paperclip is perfect with that little snowflake. Love them all!
Okay, that reindeer card with the small square of birch paper...brilliant! I absolutely love it :) And that little snowman box?? Oh so sweet! And also its cracking me up that 3 of us so far have chosen to use the same paper with the little girl silhouette :)
LOVE your Christmas projects, Tracey! It almost make me feel that I want to have Christmas right now (well...almost!!). Your take-out box is darling! So creative you are!
Absolutely gorgeous! How do I join this club. :-)
Wow these are fantastic! Yiu really worked the products!
Wow, are these good!!! I love that little box and how smart you were to use the Dec 25th tag with the die cut. I just never even thought of that, but it is perfect. I also love the striped ribbon through the shining star tag. Great job, thanks so much for letting me play along this month. I have missed it.
Beautiful projects, Tracey! The treat box is adorable. I didn't realize it could be a box. Your cards are all so gorgeous. Love the deer with the birch paper. And your last card with the banners is especially stunning!

I always look forward to seeing what you do with these kits because I know you will have such CAS beauties! I adore the way you made that beautiful birch paper the focus of your first card. But I think the last one is my favorite, with all of that white space, the pretty banners, and the ribbon clip. So inspiring, Tracey!
