STB #13 - Masculine

Sharing a card for this week's Seize the Birthday!  This week, same sketch, but for a masculine card. Four male birthdays in my family during the month of May and I think this one will be suitable for my hubby! LOL I couldn't wait to use my new Bow Ties patterned paper I picked on the weekend at Scrapfest in Kitchener. When I was there I had the pleasure of finally meeting up with Virginia Lu, she is as sweet as can be.  We kept each other in check with our shopping--not even.
I think we just enabled each other. LOL

Here is the sketch:

and here is my card:

All supplies are from Papertrey Ink unless otherwise noted.

Cardstock:  Kraft
Patterned Paper: Bow Ties (Basic Grey)
Stamps: Enjoy the Ride, Birthday Tags 2011 (PTI)
Ink:  New Leaf, True Black
Dies: Enjoy the Ride
other: herringbone embossing folder (Cuttlebug), foam tape

LOVE the tire track embossing under your car ... that EF is just perfect for this! The stripes are so bright, but still masculine. Fantastic card for hubby ... plus then you end up getting to keep the card too, right?!? : )
