Time for this week's new CASology Cue Card. This week the word is:
One stamp set that I never seem to tire of is Papertrey Ink's Up, Up & Away. I love that you can Copic colour, die cut or cut and stamp on patterned paper like I did for this week's challenge. I didn't realize that pattern on the paper was going to line up with the stamping the way it did until the card was finished. A happy surprise. I used my Pink Paislee Prairie Hill 6 x 6 papers, I just love the earthy tones and colours of that set.
Right now my son is hearing back on his University applications. That is step one and now it is keeping on track with his marks right till the end. That is a tall order when you are so done with high school. Hopefully this will give him some encouragement, do you think I should put it in his lunch bag? LOL
Head on over to CASology today to learn what the 'cue card' means to you, how you can play along and see the all the cards created by the Design Team to inspire you.
All supplies are from Papertrey Ink unless otherwise noted.
Cardstock: Vintage Cream
Patterned Paper: Pink paislee (Prairie Hill)

This is fabulous. I love that you stamped the balloon directly onto patterned paper.

What a great idea to stamp on the paper. Lovely clean card and I'm sure your son will appreciate the thought. Hope you had a happy Easter and that you are keeping well.
Adorable card Tracey! Love the lined clouds!
I love this. I am with you--never tire of that set, and every time I see someone use it, it makes me want to pull it out again (like now!) Very cool with the patterned paper.
Lovely clean card - perfect for the cue card!
I love your choice of patterned papers for this card! Such a pretty CAS design, too!
LOVE LOVE this Tracey! I always enjoy what you do with this set. And bingo for the DP working out perfectly with the stamping! I'll keep my fingers crossed that your son keeps up his marks and gets the university of his choice ;)
Absolutely! Put it in his lunch bag. ;-) Never hurts to know Mom's thinking of you and cheering you on, right?
This is a great card, Tracey. I love how you stamped and die cut from the patterned papers. That makes for such a fun balloon!
Tracey, you just became the new Star of PP!! Your use of the patterned paper for the clouds and the balloon ~ so brilliant, especially on accident!!
And you are such a great Mom to make this for your son. Lunch box is great, but just handing it to him so you can see his face and get a BIG hug of thanks ... hmmm, touch choice! I wish him all the best!!
I'm sure your son will love this card because it came from you. Guys tend to be a little less emotional but I know from experience [my son is 23] that they do seriously care! Love your take on the cue card!
really fun card, tracey and i'm sure your son will really appreciate getting it from you!
Really cute card I love this set also.

Tracey, I was amazed to read that the design on the balloon was not intentionally lined up...WOW! I love the colors and patterns you combined bewteen the balloon and the clouds...and yes, this would be a perfect card for your son as he prepares to apply to universities! (Worth another WOW!)
Hi Tracey, I love this adorable card. The balloon is so sweet moving 'up' towards the clouds like that. The patterned papers are lovely. Kx
Love the colors on that balloon and the patterned clouds! Clean and perfect!
Aren't you glad you took the patterned paper class? Not that you didn't know how to use it before, but I find that I'm much more prone to incorporating it on projects now. Looks great here!!
