Waltzingmouse Blog Party - February

It's February 17th and time for this month's Waltzingmouse Blog Party!

This month the theme is doilies and I am very excited to share a doily that I made using my Cameo.  I have never really been a fan of Papertrey Ink's Ocean Tides as a colour, but I have been using it quite a bit lately and I can't seem to get enough of it!

For my card I stamped my background using Waltzingmouse's Woodgrain I just love the texture it adds.  I die cut a heart from the My Heart cut files and stamped the corresponding image in Ocean Tides.  A strip of paper stamped again with Ocean Tides and letters from Woodenheart Alphabet in Dark Chocolate was added to the bottom  The card was finished off with a button tied with a jute bow.

Enjoy the Hop!

Cardstock:  Vanilla Cream, Ocean Tides (Papertrey Ink)
Patterned paper: Fine Linen Paper pack (Papertrey Ink)
Stamps: Woodgrain, My Heart, Woodenheart Alphabet (Waltzingmouse)
Ink:  Ocean Tides, Kraft (PTI)
Dies: My Heart cut files (Waltzingmouse)
other: foam tape, button, jute twine

Oh wow--this is gorgeous. Betty made the most beautiful doily--out of patterned paper, too. She is going to spoil you. I have always loved Ocean Tides, and glad to see you are using it, too. In a way, we were thinking along the same lines with our cards. I love that heart set you used.
