Papertrey Ink Design Team Favourites - Card #2 & Seize the Birthday #5

Yesterday there wasn't any snow on the ground and last night the snow storm began and delivered 30 cm of snow in 12 hours.

The boys hard at work.

The windows in my son's room on the 2nd story, excuse the mess.
Don't panic, there is a roof line under his window.  LOL

Tonight was definitely a crafting night.  I have another card for the Papertrey Ink Design Team Favourites contest.  I have always been in awe of Debbie Olson's Copic colouring skills.  Her colouring to me is perfection, inside the lines and shaded beautifully.  I chose one of her favourite cards to inspire me.  I just received my Fancy Folk Art stamps and dies today and I created my version of her card using this week's sketch from Seize the Birthday.

All supplies are from Papertrey Ink unless otherwise noted.

Cardstock:  Kraft, white, New Leaf
Stamps: Fancy Folk Art (Papertrey Ink) Chevrons (Impression Obsession)
Ink:  New Leaf (PTI) Memento Tuxedo Black, VersaMark (Tsukineko)
Dies: Fancy Folk Art
other: foam tape, clear embossing powder, Copics

I can't believe you have already broken this set out, and I have had mine for weeks without making a single thing. Actually, I'm trying to start something....Anyway--I adore this card. Your color choices are wonderful, and your Copic coloring looks really good. Love that chevron in the background, too.

Love the chevron background with the beautifully colored flowers. We only had about six inches of snow yesterday, and I know we were fortunate compared to many others. Good luck digging out!

Tracey this is fantastic! Your pretty colored folk art flowers looks like a pre-made chipboard piece or pretty sticker. Hope you're staying warm! We had a very cold windy day yesterday, but just a dusting of fine snow. Sounds like you'll have a snuggle in and craft weekend!

This is so lovely! I love the colors you chose to work with! And wow all that snow! My son has been wishing for some snow all winter but we do not see much here in Seattle unless we drive up to the mountains. Hope you are all fairing well! :) Jill

Definitely crafting time - and you shouldn't be telling people there's a roof line because that is an awesome photo!! I love that image in those colors - wonderful card!!

Now that's a lot of snow. We hardly ever get snow here. In January we got and 3 inches and I was so excited. I don't know what I would do if we got this much..haha. I say just stay inside and craft :) Love your card and perfect stamp for this week's sketch. Thanks for joining us at Seize the Birthday.

Love to see all the snow since we don't get it down this far in Texas but know you're probably tired of it by now.
Your card is beautiful!! Love that gorgeous image as the focal point. So pretty.
Thanks for joining us at Seize the Birthday.

Tracey, this is simply amazing! I did not get this set, not my cup of tea but after seeing what you created with it, I am having second thoughts. Your coloring so as perfect as I have ever seen, so much amazing detail. Once again, a fabulous card.
